I LOVE THESE BOOTS
I LOVE THESE BOOTS! I looked at all the hiking boots on Amazon before I narrowed it down to these - price was not an object. These boots have everything I wanted - arch support, great traction, warm and cooling - and a bonus is that they were less expensive then the current popular brands! These boots fit me as expected - I wear an 8.5, purchased an 8.5, and they fit wonderfully. Love the look.I got nothin' for my review!

I would say the quality was good.
Beware that this shoe runs small, I originally ordered a size 8.5 for a 14 year old but these were way too small so my 12 year old ended up snagging them, who wears a 7. From what I see you might need to order a whole size up. Besides the size issue these shoes were worn by a 12 year while hiking Mt Fuji for a total time of 8-9 hours and the shoe held up on the uneven rocks and terrain. I would say the quality was good.

Nice hiker at a fair price point
I like the boots and feel they are at a fair price point. Due to the advice of another reviewer I ordered a half size larger and I am glad that I did. I normally wear a 6M and I ordered a 6 1/2. They were a bit snug even in the half size larger. Although snug, they have been quite comfortable even when I wear them all day long and I have never experienced any weird pressure points that cause discomfort on specific areas of my foot. Mine did loosen up more as I wore them. I think the support is pretty good. I mainly use them for lake trail walking and light hiking. So far they are holding up and as of right now I would purchase another pair.I almost gave this boot five stars based on price, design and comfort but I need to see how they hold up over time first.

Pretty great from the price
Pretty great from the price. I am not a big hiker, but planned a hike in Red Rock Canyon for a few hours. These were great because for me $100 hiking shoes were just too much since I won't use them much again. Despite it being over 100 degrees I felt these shoes did the job.

Great shoes but they need to be broken in
I love these hiking boots but they do run small. After reading other reviews I ordered half a size up, Im a 6 1/2 WW but ordered a 7 and even that 7 was very snug. To break them in i began by wearing them to places like the store, wearing panty hose, then moves up to thin-ish socks, then thicker socks, and lastly hiking socks. The breaking in process was painstaking but fully worth it, These show ARE waterproof. Don't get me wring,Im sure if you submerge your foot in a pond you're going to get wet feet, but in small pools of water they've keep my feet dry.I recommend these to anyone with the patience to break them in.

I like the way the toe rolls forward rather than bends ...
I was pleasantly surprised that these hiking boots were more narrow than most which swallow up my skinny foot. I like the way the toe rolls forward rather than bends across the instep, so no pinching or blisters. I took off one star because these said they had high arch supports, but I don't think they have much at all. I got size 7 which is my normal size and they have plenty of toe room unlike most hiking boots where you have to order up two sizes. They are a little stiff, but I like that around the ankle, and they are hard to slide on because they don't have anything to pull from, the loop in the back is too small to give much leverage. Overall, I'd say thumbs up since the price is so low. I got the brown ones and they are exactly as pictured.

Well built synthetic but order half-one size up
I wear a 36/5.5 to 6 and ordered 6.5. The length is right but they are narrow; I actually started a return on this item but they were so cute I thought I'd risk breaking them in. They are all synthetic so don't break in like leather, but I did adjust to the shoe adding 3/4 arch supports (these shoes have a good heel but no arch support - they did fit a 3/4 insert but the shoe's insert is NOT removable so if you wear full orthotics, you may want to go a whole size up). I don't hike much, and these are more a chore boot and they were perfect for raking leaves and yard work. Cleaned up easy too. The ankle support is not cushioned enough for me, but I had the same problem with Timberlands so tend to loosen them up on top. I think a bit pricey for synthetic but they seem well made and attractive.UPDATE: A few months wear and still in very good condition. Performed well on nature trail hikes of 2-4 miles. Glad I didn't retun these as the fit became more comfortable with wear.

Great Boots
Love these boots. They're comfortable and cute and sturdy and are just great shoes. They came just the slightest bit small but still comfortably wearable. If you're debating between a half size up or down though, i would go up.
