Not disappointed in the slightest............. glad I wasn't put off by some of the review
After reading the reviews - I was sceptical to say the least, but I decided to take the gamble. I am really glad I did. I chose the grey one, it looks quite different in colour to the one shown on Amazon, so I thought I would include a photo. The lid was already attached so I didn't need to struggle to get it on like some people have said. I was waiting for the knock out smell of plastic, when I opened it there was a faint smell, but nothing like strong enough to question whether I should put my pooch's food in it. I received a delivery of dog food today, however the bag was 18kg so I wasn't expecting it all to fit. I filled the bin as much as possible and then weighed the full bin - it weighed 16.5Kg full, so I am assuming the contents of a 15kg bag would fit, (although not if it was still in the original bag and I did take the scoop out to get the max in I could) The lid clicks when you close it, so it stays firmly closed. I wouldn't think it was suitable for use outside, but then I intended it for indoors and I think it does the job perfectly.

Almost does what it says on the tin
Brought to store the large amounts of dog food in.It doesn’t store the same amount it states on the advert as our dog food comes in 15kg bags and we couldn’t fit a whole one in.We also ordered what the picture shows is black and it came light grey. Not an issue for us as we have it stored in a cupboard but if you are expecting a specific colour just be warned.Other than that it keeps the face safe and secure which was the main thing.

Pretty good
This is a great container for the dog food - Per other reviews it doesn’t fit a 15kg bag of dry food but that’s fine. The only thing letting it down as others say is the smell which is very chemically. I wouldn’t put the food loose in there because of this so it stays in the bag, in the bin.

Great design but won’t hold 12.5kg of dog food.
As soon as I unpacked this my husband said there was no way the 12.5kg of dog food we buy would fit in but I was adamant it would...he was right. 🙁. Disappointed as sold as big enough to hold 15kg. We’ve kept it as pleased with product overall.

Decent container.. happy enough
Read a lot of reviews about this product smelling... it’s a decent container! My dog food comes on resealable bags, this just removes temptation/opportunity also handy height for keeping shoes on top!!!

Great for storing pet food or recycling
Confession time - bought for our recycling. More compact, better design & thinner for the space in our kitchen. Recycling bins cost more & either too wide or too compact. This is the ideal size for a 2nd bin with limited space & the perfect colour for our room.Great colour, better than described. Very light, easy to clean.

I would recommend.
I was about worried about buying this after reading the reviews, but I'm very pleased with it. It's big enough to fit a bag of dog food in it, it keeps the smell contained, and seems sturdy enough. No cracks or breaks on delivery. Overall, pleased and would recommend.
