Why did you pick this product vs others?: This shampoo is so amazing and it makes my hair icy white. My hair is bleached and my hair had a little bit of yellowing after shampooing my hair for a month. I was taken aback when I noticed how it lathered up and when I rinsed it out after letting it sit for 3 minutes my hair felt amazingly soft. I also got the purple masque in this brand. I squeezed the water out of my hair and applied the Kerastase Masque Ultra-Violet on my damp hair and kept it on for 3 minutes and rinsed with cool water. My hair was super soft and moisturized. My hair feels so super soft and it has a shine to it. Yes, this brand is pricy but my hair looks and feels like a million bucks!!! You do not have to use a lot of shampoo or conditioner. The shampoo lathered up really well and I only used a quarter size of shampoo and I only used a quarter size of the Masque Ultra- Violet conditioner on my hair. My hair is short and I do feel I somewhat used a bit too much product. Next time I will use a dime size of shampoo so I won’t have excess lather. I am a very happy customer and I will buy again. I would highly recommend these products. I had excellent results. Every time I touch my hair I smile and I feel absolutely confident. Also, the shampoo and masque Ultra-Violet conditioner does not have a perfume nor chemical smell. It has no odor.

I've had my hair bleached from dark brown to platinum silver for 4 years now. I’ve tried other 2 other purple shampoos but none delivered the results I wanted—until I found Kérastase Blond Absolu Ultra Violet Shampoo. This shampoo is on the pricier side, but it’s absolutely worth it. Unlike the cheaper alternatives that left my hair feeling dry, this formula is ultra-nourishing, making my platinum silver hair hair soft, smooth, and vibrant while eliminating brassiness in just one wash. The purple pigment is rich and it smells amazing, like a fresh, salon-quality treatment. If you’ve been struggling to find a purple shampoo that actually works without drying out your hair, this is the one. I won’t be going back to cheaper brands—this is a game-changer for my hair so far!

This has become my "go to" shampoo. I let my hair go naturally gray, and I really like what this shampoo does for my hair. I justify the cost because I don't have to use conditioner with this shampoo. My hair is soft, easy to manage, and it's not dry, plus I find I don't have to shampoo as much because I don't have to use conditioner. There's nothing to weigh down my hair. I get a lot of compliments because my hair looks great!

I have medium coarse, fairly porous curly hair (2c/3a mix) that is balayaged blonde from basically black every few months. My hairdresser recommended it, and I had never used a purple shampoo before other than when another hairdresser used it on my hair once. I use it once a week; after one scrub and rinse with my normal shampoo, I’ll scrub this into my scalp and get it on the ends or my hair as well. I’ll leave it in while I shave or do other things, probably about 5/7 minutes. Then I rinse and continue with my normal conditioning routine. For me this does dry my hair out a bit, but I use an argan oil based hair mask right after and that restores a lot of the moisture. It works just fine on my hair, keeps it from getting too brassy. It is expensive, but because you only need it once per week, it’ll last you a while. I don’t usually skimp on applications, either. Gave it 4 stars due to price and drying only. Other than that it’s great.

This purple shampoo is an absolute essential for maintaining my blonde highlights. It completely tones down the yellow and leaves my hair looking fresh and icy. It has a light scent that is good for what it is. The consistency is pretty thick. However, it can be a little drying, like all of them are, just make sure you use a moisturizing conditioner afterwards. A little goes a long way. I use it once a week and it keeps my color salon-fresh; very effective!

My daughter uses this product and recommended that I try it. We’re both very happy with results. It leaves our hair soft and manageable with a hint of bluing highlights. We will be purchasing this again.

I was recommended this shampoo by my hair dresser, and I am so glad that I have been able to find it here, and for much better value than in the salon. This particular bottle is really compact within my shower, and looks nice, but isn’t the best value. I appreciate it when I can buy the 500ml or 1l bottles. With two hair washes a week, I tend to go through this bottle fairly quickly. The shampoo itself has a lovely smell, it’s the nicest smell I have come across in shampoo, and it has a smell that lingers, even after drying. It lathers well and leaves my hair with a really clean feeling; it’s a bonus that you don’t need to use too much to get a good lather. The blonde colour of my hair is in good condition, though it’s hard to tell if this is also helped by the conditioner in the same range - I always use both. Either way, I love this shampoo; after years of trying lots of different shampoos (luxury and high street) and I can’t imagine moving away from this one anytime soon. I much prefer this shampoo to the L’Oréal silver shampoo, which I used for years before this one. The colour and quality feels nicer. It’s worth the price-tag in my opinion.

Chegou antes do prazo previsto! Muito bem embalado e lacrado. Meus cabelos possuem bastantes fios brancos e, consequentemente, amarelados. Esse shampoo fez milagre na primeira aplicação, fiquei supresa, apesar de conhecer a credibilidade da Kerastase. Os fios voltam ao branco natural, sem ressecar os fios, deixando-os macios e leves. Super indico! Com certeza, comprarei novamente!
