Collection of Eight Streptocarpus/Cape Primrose Jumbo Size Plug Plants

A collection of sturdy plants that have quickly produced some beautiful and exotic flowers

Dibleys Nurseries lived up to their reputation for careful packaging and very prompt delivery. The plugs were of impressive size and all appeared healthy.Plants are subject to failures despite best of care we acknowledge, and such has come to pass in this case. Four are vibrant and in flower with plenty buds in evidence. Two more are apparently viable despite absence of any growth.The remaining pair failed quite early on, 'Seren' in a matter of a few days, the other 'Bethan' has 'rot' from the leaf junction with the root, these despite all being potted and cared for identically. Watered sparingly and from below and kept out of direct sunlight.So, six out of the original eight to carry on challenging us to raise them into the bountiful display that we saw on television and later at Chelsea. We may return in some months ahead to define whether or not we did succeed!

Fabulous plants - in good condition on arrival. Just as advertised.

Really disappointed these are categorised incorrectly when searching for outdoor bedding plants. Only discovered they were indoor only when the literature came with them. Vendor should change description and put indoor in it. Went straight in the bin.

Indeed, these are large plugs. The plants are growing well so will replant easier. The plants are of excellent quality and appear very healthy.

The plug plants arrived and looked very healthy. However after a week or so some of them started to look as if they were dying back. And they did eventually die despite my best efforts. I then investigated their root systems and they had made no attempt to penetrate the fibrous containers that they were planted in. Despite reasonable watering, these containers had hardened and I think that had something to do with them dying. The three remaining plants had these fibrous containers removed and then replanted, and so far they are doing well.

These are absolutely stunning. I've had them on various windowsills since November and now they are flowering (March). The flowers are stunning and have an orchid like quality to them. They are happiest on the windowsill that gets the afternoon and evening sun. Good quality plants and value for money would recommend.

They do not seem to be growing very well
