Reliable, no spills, great insulation, locking mechanism
The Contigo mug is an absolute game-changer for anyone who values convenience, durability, and style in their daily routine. I have been using the older version of the same brand for already 3 years and I didn’t have any single accident (spills, break downs). The size is perfect for carrying around in my bag or fitting into most car cup holders. This mug keeps my coffee piping hot for almost a full day.The lid mechanism is fantastic and it is super easy to clean, which is a huge bonus. While it’s a bit pricier than some other travel mugs, the quality and features more than justify the cost. It feels like an investment in my daily routine.I highly recommend the Contigo mugs to anyone who wants a reliable and stylish way to enjoy their beverages on the go.

Durable, droppable, dishwasher safe
I've been using mine for years at this point, and I'm happily amazed it's survived what I've put it through. I've dropped this thing from the top of my car onto concrete multiple times and it's come away with just a scratch or two, and never popped open and spilled my coffee. The press to sip button on the spout is pretty comfortable and easy to use, so it doesn't spill when unlocked; and when it's locked, it stays that way. With that reliability it's very easy to tote around in my work backpack or my car.I use it exclusively for hot beverages, and it does seem to keep it hot for 4-5 hours no problem, even if I leave it in a cold car. Then when I'm done, I can throw it in the dishwasher. The sip spout unlatches to make sure the lid gets clean without having to come apart into several pieces like some. Super convenient and super functional!

As good as a travel mug can get
Love this bottle - very well made, well designed, sleek look. Keeps coffee hot, never leaks, easy to open for drinking or lock to keep from leaking when tumbling around in a bag, and never tastes metallic. Well worth the price

Reliable tall mug!
I’ve been using the travel mug for my morning coffee for a couple months now, and it’s been a great addition to my routine. The insulation keeps my coffee hot for hours, which is essential when I’m busy at work. The stainless steel is a big plus - my cabinets are full of mugs where the outer coating has started chipping away. Nothing to worry with these! The size is perfect for my cup holder, and cleanup is straightforward. While it’s not completely spill-proof if tipped over for a long time, it’s been reliable for everyday use. I do also wish that the and the lid’s locking mechanism was a little lower on the cup. It is a little awkward to hold it so high, but I got used to it. At least it seals well! Gives me peace of mind when tossing it into a bag

Maybe the older design works better?
I've purchased 4 of the Contigo Luxe Mugs and they have performed flawlessly. I replaced 2 of them because the color tends to peel off and looks shabby. I lost a stainless one. My last order was December 12, 2023. I must have gotten good ones as none of them have ever leaked and kept coffee warm for hours.

Absolutely the Perfect Travel Mug!
I've been in search of the perfect coffee mug. I originally purchased the Courtland Chill 24 oz and it was simply too big. I then purchased the Jackson Chill 20 oz and replaced the lid with the Courtland Chill lid because I like the spill-proof aspect of the Courtland lid. The Jackson Chill lid has a big opening and is not spill-proof, only leak-proof. With both Coutland and Jackson, they were bottom-heavy when pressing the AUTOSEAL to sip, and uncomfortable to hold. Also, I had to call Contigo to make sure the Jackson Chill could hold hot liquids since the instruction on the wrapper indicates the product is only for cold liquids. I was assured by a Contigo representative, that hot liquids can be used in the Jackson Chill. After more research, I found the Luxe Stainless 16 oz, which is the ideal size and offers AUTOSEAL, the most important feature to me. The Luxe doesn't feel too bottom-heavy when turning the mug up to drink. I bought the all stainless, inside and out. It is sleek-looking and functions flawlessly. Love this mug, and plan to buy one this Christmas for all my coffee lover friends.

Too Good?
Can a product be too good? Too effective at its intended purpose? I think this one is.It's sleek, professional, efficient, very easy to clean, fits my cup holder perfectly, and keeps my coffee hot for hours. No seriously, HOURS. It's annoying. I make my coffee at 0530 as the final step before I walk out of the door for work. Sometimes work is busy at 0700 and I don't have time to get to my coffee until 1000 or so. This has happened multiple times... and my coffee is STILL HOT. Almost as hot as when I made it. WTH? I mean, zero thermal loss? Really? I go to take a sip thinking "surely, it's got to be room temperature by now. At least close to it" and boom, I'm shocked by how hot and perfect it sits but also angry at my arrogance for having almost burned myself by underestimating the exquisite feat of design and engineering of this marvel of modern achievement.I demand to know what sorcery is behind the creation of this item. This is messing with my reality. What executive approved this? What engineer chose its dimensions, wall thickness and steel type? Who designed the cap and pouring mechanism because they need a FKNG AWARD. They need to be publicly recognized for outstanding achievement in raising the bar for this seemingly insignificant yet profoundly important modern convenience of 1st world comfort.

Nice, not perfect
The outer stainless shell is fairly durable, and has not stained. Inside is similarly in good shape in spite of regular use and frequently being inside a backpack. It does not leak, and insulates well.My one issue with this product is ease of cleaning the cap. With the cap “taken apart”, a standard dish brush is unable to reach inside. I would prefer to be able to partially disassemble the cap. As it is designed to partially come apart without being apart, it is annoying to clean.
