Unexpectedly very nice!
I purchased this for easy travel and the simplicity of replacing AA batteries anywhere. I was not expecting a great shave. To me, it's better than my full size $200 Philips Norelco triple header. I think because it is smaller, it reaches hard to reach crevices like under the nose and around the chin. The first shave or two were a bit itchy, but by day 3, it was smooth sailing.Mine did not come with batteries included, but that was certainly not a deal breaker. It's still new to me, but seems solid, well built and it's a good shave. Just allow a few days for your face to get used to it.

Perfect portable electric razor
A perfect portable electric razor.Shaves closeIt's quietDouble A battery powerExactly as advertisedThis is the exact razor I was looking for. Something small and portable that I didn't have to charge. If it runs low on power I can just pop in a couple of new batteries and I'm good to go. I don't have to keep up with any charging cord or wait for it to charge. It shaves quickly quietly and close. If I don't shave for a couple of days it still shaves close it just takes a little longer which is expected with any razor. It's absolutely easy to clean. It takes 2 seconds to clean daily and about 2 minutes once every couple of weeks to disassemble clean and reassemble. (Comes with a cleaning brush)There's a travel case available on Amazon that fits it perfectly.I'm using this razor as my daily razor and it's doing the same job as the expensive Norelco I had for years, but had to charge. No more charging for me! If you're familiar with Norelco rotary razors then this is probably the travel razor you're looking for. If you're new to rotary razors then this is the most inexpensive quality razor to give a try. In my opinion this a great shaver and like I said, I now use this as my daily razor.

Excellent for the Money
This is a really good product. The circular blades shave my whiskers as close as any electric. Perfect travel size. Easy to clean. I find it best to go with the grain first, and then against it for optimal closeness. The only drawbacks are that the two blades take slightly longer than a 3 blade model (which is to be expected), and it is battery-operated.

Most under-rated razor out there.
Small, light, and a good shave. Perfect for travel, but I also use it every day to trim around my winter beard.Just like what others say: AA batteries last for weeks of daily use. Very nice shave, considering the size, weight, and price; not amazing, but plenty good enough. For full beard shaving, it will take you a little longer than a three-head Norelco, but shaves just as cleanly. Highly recommended for travelers and light daily use.

Quiet and efficient
I shaved for about ten years with a Braun that took AA batteries. I even had two. I went to replace the screens (routine, did it a few times, usually in a supermarket aisle), and they've stopped making them. P&G owns Braun. I thought they were pretty smart, but they were not smart enough to offer me a coupon for say $5 on a new Braun. Even $2.50 might have made me at least look at another Braun. So I got this shaver. It is so quiet I was not sure it was even working at first, but contra another reviewer I thought the shave was closer than the Braun. There were no batteries. I called Amazon and said, you should change the advertising, and how about 59c toward some batteries? The guy gave me a $5 credit. Jeff Bezos has more savvy about customer service in one of his toenails than all all of your bank, credit card company, phone carrier, and internet provider have, combined.Update after six weeks: I'll double down on saying this shaves closer than the Braun, and what I didn't know at first--it also has the distinct advantage of not leaving you with a few missed hairs. With the Braun I was always having to take out a blade every couple of days to go back and get those. It might go through the batteries a little faster than the Braun, maybe. Definitely a better shaver overall. This kind of shaver has the advantage that if you're traveling on a continent with 220 voltage you don't need an adapter.

Good shaver for travel, backup, off-grid.
This shaver takes up about half the space in a travel kit as my full-size Norelco. Weight: 4.8 oz with alkaline batteries installed, vs 6.7 oz for the full-size shaver. As a test, I shaved with it for a week: it is just a little slower, a little less comfortable to hold, and gives a little less comfortable shave than the full-size. Closeness of shave: about the same.Although it’s small and light, it doesn’t look or feel cheap or toy-like.After seven shaves, the supplied alkaline batteries still had some life left in them. The instruction say to use alkaline only, not rechargeable batteries, but I tested it with high-capacity NiMH and with Eneloop low-self-discharge NiMH and both shaved the same as alkalines. I didn’t do an extended test.It is not washable like Norelco’s regular shavers. The instructions call for brushing it out each day, and disassembling the cutters for a thorough cleaning every two months. (It’s an occasional-use travel shaver, so I’m interpreting that as every 60 uses, not 6 times a year.) A small brush is provided, and a clip-on head protector, but no case or bag.

You only get two shaves Than dull ……
The first razor arrived every only one thing the batteries were dead then I put in. Another blade wouldn’t work it made a strange sound like it was rubbing and making noise. HELP!!!
