Excellent book, truly a masterpiece

Been waiting to order for a while, it arrived earlier than expected and in perfect condition

Wanted to re-read after 50+ years

Great story with intrigue and suspense

My granddaughter chose this book for her birthday. I live in South Africa and sending gifts to the US is prohibitive. I therefore appreciate the ability to purchase gifts for her on Amazon.

My copy went up to the lake with me, and for a book to survive camping at all is impressive. As for the contents, I found one, maybe two obviously misspelled words; ‘she’ spelled as ‘shs’— but nothing any more distracting than that. My papa’s copy of the book is the same translation and it’s from the early fifties with a beautiful hardcover, and I must say the language is particularly beautiful and comprehensive for a dummy like me. Constance Garnett is the only reason I’ve been able to read this amazing novel, and I thank her.

Very good quality and im very excited to read it.
