We bought this for a cruise ship beach stop. Chair and umbrella rentals can get pricey and restrict you to one beach or spot for the day. This was perfect because it would be a money saver and give us the freedom to get up and go wherever (and whenever) we wanted. It worked out great. It was light and easy to carry. Setup is a breeze even with a steady beach wind. I was worried that anchoring with just the metal anchors at the four corners would not be enough, but a windy day with strong gusts was no problem for it.In some ways it’s better than a beach chair with umbrella. You can hang towels on it, tie floaties and other light beach toys to it, and hide things under it. It’s low enough so that it’s not obnoxious to others on a crowded beach. It easily fit our family of three.The only thing to consider is that because it is domed and open on three sides, there will be parts of the tent that get direct sun. When all three of us were laying inside, someone would be at least half in the sun.Now we use it for park concerts, picnics, outdoor events, the list goes on. Very happy and satisfied.

We took this on two trips to the beach in California to provide shade for our baby. It was plenty big enough for two adults laying on towels and a baby to sit under. We loved the three open sides to allow wind to flow through. Keep in mind that the amount of shade depends on the sun’s position in the sky and how you maneuver the tent. Just mentioning this as it’s not a design flaw if the sun peeks in. We packed the tent in its handy carrying bag in our checked suitcase without any issue. It could fit inside a carryon suitcase as well. This tent could easily be used other places too, like a park or backyard. I was able to set up and take it down by myself at home and had my husband help me at the beach since sand and wind were involved, but it can be done by one person if need be. The pockets on the sides to fill with sand were very helpful. I recommend filling those first while you spread out the corners to keep it weighed down as you set the poles up. And then emptying the sand out as the last step before folding away for storage. Hope this helps!

I liked the tent a lot. I set it up in my living room before my trip so there were no surprises. I was even able to do it by myself, though it is easier to set up with two people. I used it on the beach in St John, where there are usually steady breezes blowing. It held up well, and seemed much easier to use than the Neso tents many people were talking about. We did keep all of our gear in the tent to help weight it down. You can also fit two low profile chairs inside and still have a wide field of vision. The tent and bag are small enough and light enough to put in a suitcase. My only negative is with the stakes that came with the tent. Very tiny. I did go out and purchase some better stakes before my trip and tied them onto the corner straps. Would also love to see a tag that says "front" so I know I'm positioning the tent correctly before I put it up. Other than that I thought it was great and a good value.

We have been searching a tent that is perfect combination of portability, functionality and ease of use. This one has it all! It is lightweight and doesn't take up much room in the trunk. We set it up at home once and my children were so excited to "camp" in it. The three open sides allow multiple children get in and out freely and allow the breeze to come through. It is perfect for the hot days. First time opening up and folding down takes a little practice but it's not rocket science to figure out. I would encourage you to practice once like we did just to know what was going on. Instead of tackling it all for the first time on the beach. In all honesty, it was very easy to set up and take down. We can't wait to use it for outside activities to see how the string and stakes work in the gusty coastal winds.

I'm not a big review-leaver, but this little beach tent saved my wife and I recently. We were on a beach in the Golden Isles of Georgia when a sudden and violent storm rolled in. We huddled into this tent (which we assembled in mere minutes upon arrival) and watched as wind gusts of at least 40-mph tossed other beach-goers umbrellas and canopies. This one stayed anchored tightly to the sand with only the main 4 corner stakes in. We didn't even have the additional tie-up stakes installed. Did we get wet? Well, yes. It has 3 open sides. But all of our belongings stayed put the entirety of the storm. My wife and I were very impressed and super appreciative.Pros: Lightweight / Easy to assemble (with 2 people and preferably minimal wind) / Not a hotbox in the sunCons: Ground stakes are cheap, bend easily / Collects sand when wet. Keep a small handbroom handy.

Y’all, this tent was a nightmare to put together. We went to the beach on a super hot day. This tent took us over 20 minutes to put together between two people and I have put tents together before. It would not stick and one side kept coming back up no matter how many times we re adjusted it. It literally ruined our beach trip. I ended up throwing it in the trash before we left.

The tent is great for the beach. Its big enough to have 3 people lay side by side on their beach towels and the tent gives pretty good shade. Its generally easy to assemble, except for under windy conditions. I really like the little bags at the corners that can be filled to be used as sand bags holding the tent down. The bag it comes it makes it really easy to carry as well.My main issue was that at my 2nd use, one of the corners with the plastic end where the tent pole end and stakes go into came off and that whole strap just began to unravel completely. I couldn't sew it back since it unraveled, so I just did a knot and burned the loose end.

Relatively lightweight and really simple to assemble and dismantle. It been with us for most of the summer at camping and festivals. Really recommended.

I am so glad that I bought this to take on our recent trip to Greece. Great piece of kit and a must have for future trips. Lightweight, compact and easily fitted into a medium sized suitcase. Easy to put up with 2 x fibre glass poles that thread on the outside, pegs for the 4 corners and also has optional Guy ropes you can use (we didn’t need them). Good size - space for 2 adults and 2 kids to sit inside for drinks and a bit of respite from the sun or for 2 adults to lie flat and chill out inside. The fact that the sides are “open” was great as allowed for a much welcomed sea breeze to flow through the tent. It was over 34 degrees and it provided us with shade and respite from the sun when needed. Ideal for us as we like to explore off the beaten track where shade isn’t always readily available on beaches etc. Due to the open sides I would not recommend using it in moderate winds as I would worry about damaging the poles. Easy to pack away and everything fits back into the bag with ease. Will certainly be packing it for our next trip.

My husband and I purchased this to take on holiday with us to Corsica. Fantastic purchase, so easy to put up and take down and suffice to say offered plenty of shelter from the sun which was exceeding 30 degrees most days. Takes very little room in your suitcase and extremely lightweight and a good carry handle as well.
