A great book!
If you're looking for a great book that's a quick read, this is it! Interesting, exciting, and thought provoking. The only thing that would have made it better, would have been if it were true!

Good book kept my interest
It was a good book ready it while at work and a little over 5 hours with interruptions. The book kept my interest going and I was looking forward to the next chapter.

Ok, but nothing amazing.
This book lacked depth of story and character. It was way too short, the story moving along so quickly that it felt more like someone giving a brief overview rather than an actual novel. I also mistakenly took it as non fiction. In fact, the writing made it seem more so because it was only of average quality. I don't expect that every person going through such an ideal to be a writer. In spite of the mediocre writing, the story was so short I finished it anyway. On the other hand, it seemed very uneducated and so anti Arab that I won't be buying anything else by this author. I still gave it a 3 because I did finish it, however.

Couldn’t stop reading
I love survival stories, and what she went through was horrendous. I applaud her for her resilience and her bravery.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
Absolutely terrible. The only reason I finished this book was because It was so incredibly short and lasted me my commute time. It was not only terribly written, but the main character was an insipid, incredibly stupid woman who reminded me of the stereotypical girl who trips over nothing or wants to go into the dark basement in a horror movie. The plot was terrible, the depiction of Arabs, Muslims and the Koran frightfully ignorant and the ending as obvious as it was unsatisfying. I had nothing better to do on the train but I regret every dollar I spent on this mind numbing, worthless amalgam of ignorance.

Ridiculous...
I bought this book thinking it would be non-fiction and, based on its good ratings, well-written and researched. It turned out Brianna's Story: Married to an Arab is a novel and a poorly written and researched one at that. The protagonist is a woman named Brianna-- Bree for short-- who is an engineering student at Columbia University. She meets Khaleel, an exotic looking Saudi Arabian man at a social event organized by the engineering school. Bree has been out of circulation for awhile because she's grieving and for some strange reason, decides to chat up the well-dressed, wealthy looking Arab man. He's not very nice to her from the get-go, but she gives him the benefit of the doubt because she apparently doesn't want to be racist. They quickly fall into a relationship involving sex. Bree moves in with him and, thanks to their regular sexual activities, becomes pregnant. Even though there are a lot of red flags and Bree is supposed to be a super smart engineering student, she winds up with this guy who never treats her well and eventually ends up being abducted by Khaleel and his friends. Through a rather implausible series of events, they take her to a remote place in Saudi Arabia. That's where she learns all about Muslims and the way they treat women.Bree does not seem intelligent enough to study engineering at Columbia. She doesn't seem to have book smarts or common sense, so perhaps I shouldn't be surprised that she ends up in Saudi Arabia against her will. But then somehow, after delivering twin girls that are improbably taken from her and presumably killed, she quickly recovers from all that has happened to her and launches a daring escape. On the positive, I have read worse writing in terms of style and grammar.I got the sense that the authors of this book relied on the worst stereotypes involving Muslim men and didn't actually do any research into the Saudi culture. There were some typos, awkward sentence constructions, and flat out falsehoods in this poorly conceived book. Moreover, while it's probably my fault for not reading up on the authors before I purchased this book, I was expecting non-fiction and got a novel instead.

So Good
This is one of the best books I read so far. This book was a page turner, I couldn't put the book down. This book had all the elements a good book need, there was love, deception, suspense, mystery, heartbreak, courage, religion and the will to fight to stay alive. I really enjoyed this book.

recommend this title
Yes I recommend this title to everyone. Love can be deceiving and then turn very bad. So bad that escape is the only way out.
