Good food with poor quality control
We switched to Muse pate a little over a year ago after feeding Wellness grain-free for many years. Both of our cats love Muse and devour both the wet and dry foods. However, in the past couple of months, we've found the quality control to be hit or miss. We'll open a can and both cats will absolutely refuse to touch it--yet open a different can from a different case, and they'll go right for it. One of our cats can be a bit picky at times, but the other will always eat if he's hungry, even if it's not his "preferred" food or flavor. So to have him refuse to eat the Muse is a major red flag that something is actually wrong with the product. It's disappointing and frustrating, because if you buy an entire sealed 24-pack and one can has this issue, all of the cans will have it--and they cannot be returned. Before we started running into this problem, Muse would have received 5-stars from us and our cats. But since this seems to be happening more and more frequently, we'll likely have to find another type of food to try and give up on Muse as opposed to throwing money away on cans the cats won't touch.

Tainted food? Cats loved, but now won't eat most recently purchased cases--spoiled??
Our two indoor cats, as well as several outdoor cats (strays/feral) that we feed, have always loved this food until this last order--none of them would eat it. I suspect that this batch is tainted in some way since ferals/strays, in particular, won't turn down ANY kind of wet food unless there's something wrong with it. Anyone else have this problem? I'm now afraid to purchase this brand in ANY flavor and I'm stuck with two cases of food my cats won't eat. I'm not happy about this and it puts a cloud over my desire to purchase ANY Purina cat food, even though it's been my brand of choice for years.

Minced Pate/Predominately Seafood--Just What My Cats Like
I'm going to stop rating five stars for canned food--not because there's anything wrong with the food, but as soon as I do, it seems the cats change their minds. Maybe there is no food they love! This one is definitely a keeper--the cats do like it for now. I have learned to order four or five varieties at one time from Amazon. When the food arrives, I open and reorganize the trays so that each row is different from the previous--my cats get variety, and my family doesn't have to wonder which tray to pull from.My cats prefer seafood flavors so that's what I normally buy (yes, I realize there's usually a bit of chicken, etc. in there). For some reason, the cats don't like the flavors that are predominantly chicken or beef or have lots of vegetables. I've learned to stay away from foods that look "good enough to eat" and stay with the plain ground pate. I do buy grain free in the hopes that will keep their diets healthy and vet bills down. So far, cats are healthy, have good coats, and no stool issues. Happy cats is a happy wallet!

Pretty healthy cat food
This cat food rates high on the "safe" scale and luckily my cat likes it a lot. This is only 1 of 3 that she will eat (after I stopped giving her Friskies Pate, which I read rates tops on the toxin scale!)

Cat tested, fur baby mom approved!
After adopting my two cats (age 9), it was a challenge to find good food that they liked and could eat. One came to us on a limited-ingredient diet due to a skin condition, but didn't like the food. The other was just a little picky. We tried it out and figured out the one cat just needed grain-free food, which opened up the food choices a lot for us.Cue going to the store and buying one of every grain-free food in the store. To be honest, I had passed on this food at first because of the Purina (I admit, I'm a cat food snob). However, I did research, and found that the Muse brand is healthy for my cats, without any dangerous ingredients, so I got the whitefish and the chicken to try. And boy, are my cats happy I did! Out of all the foods, this is the only brand that they eat completely in one sitting. It's got just the right amount of gravy. And, it's so easy to pop out of the can. Definitely getting mush more of this, and whatever other flavors I can!

My 2 cats absolutely love this. They literally finish the entire can with no scraps left over which previously I was feeding Beyond and it was a hit or miss. My Siamese also stopped having his awful gas when I switched to Muse. I detract a star for the guar gum and unfortunately noticed some flavors have wheat gluten which I will not buy. Get with the program Purina...

Only if you are brave enough!
I needed food for my super pick boys that didn't have any grain products. I found out they don't like turkey and anything but chicken is iffy to say the least. That was my last experience with this style of cat food purchase. I spent a week cleaning up cat puke so I went back to just buying the chicken pate. I am a slave to the boys! LOL

Cats love the taste
My cat loved it unfortunately, it did not mix well with his sensitive stomach. He started vomiting again while on this food. So I had to switch back to his old food. However, he loved the taste and did eat it all up. I ended up giving it to some other cats I know and all of them loved it as well and digested it properly. So in all it seems like great food. I would only give a word of caution to those with cats that have sensitive stomachs, maybe go to your local pet store and buy a few cans to test it out before buying 24 cans.
