This hat looks and feels great. My only complaint was that it's not really true to size. I typically wear a 7-1/4 so that's what I ordered. The hat I got was at least a 1/4 size off and felt very tight on my forehead. I wore it for a few days to see it it would break in but it didn't so I returned it for a larger size. My advice would be to get the hat, but go up about a 1/4 size. I've already reordered the hat in a larger size so I'll update this post around the end of January when it gets here.

This was exactly what I was looking for. The fit was perfect. Iam a big guy and I have a 7 5/8 hat and it looks great. The crown was just what I needed. The brick crown or other wise know as Bull Rider crown is perfect for big heads. If you are a big guy and have a big head this hat is for you.

Shaped perfectly, feels durable, size was just right, and adjusting wasn’t a problem, I work on a ranch and needed something reliable especially in the winter, this was the perfect hat, would definitely recommend!!!

Great hat! My first wool hat and I'm pleased with this purchase. As you can see hat came well packaged in simple box and forms only sufficient for shipping no storage hat box. My head measures 22 inches or 56cm charts suggest 7. This hat seems to be long oval see pics and this size 7 measures 61/4" wide by 75/8" front to back. It fits a bit tight in the front horehead, I would probably go with 71/8 next time but I"ll try a strecher and a little stream. However it fits snug and no worries of loosing hat in wind or while riding or working. 100% wool made in Mexico. The band is super cheap just same wool material glued in place (peels of easily) but what would you expect for 55 bucks. I"ll spend another 20 bucks for nice hat band to make it unique. The shape "Bull Rider" style, rectangular creased crown is what sold me, none traditional and not a common style. Pics make the crown look kind of high or tall but its not, the proportions are spot on. The sweatband is leather and printed "2X premium wool" don"t if that means much or just sounds good but like I said I'm very satisfied so far and would recomend. Nice job Ariat!
