Carhartt Men's 6 Inch Waterproof Wedge Steel Toe Work Boot

Comfortable and sturdy enough for most working environments

These boots are great! Im a ranch hand. I’m constantly on my feet from 5am to 4pm. These boots are water proof. I’m always 6in deep in water. The insole hasn’t deteriorated on me yet. These boots are very comfortable but kinda heavy. I haven’t conditioned the boots yet. They still look very nice for how much abuse they Receive. I walk 12k-14k steps a day. I most likely will purchase another pair, once these fall apart on me.

I have work timberland, Danner, red wing, and Irish setters. These are along with my wingshooters the most comfortable boots I have work right out of the box. They run large. Order a size or half size smaller. Love them.

[Husband here writing review on wifee's account.] I work in a construction area and walk at least a few miles a day through puddles, mud, oil, snow, ice, and salt/melt. I wear them every day, and every aspect of these boots have held up going on 18 months: the sole, tread, waterproofing, leather, eyelets, and even the laces. I'm always hesitant about brands venturing out of their swim lanes. I have two Carhartt jackets and other apparel, but I've never known them to inhabit the footwear space. That said, I went with these boots for a few key reasons. First, wedge boots for men tend to have huge, thick soles; like freaking platform shoes. The pics of these looked like the soles weren't as pronounced, (and indeed they aren't). Second, they were waterproof, which was key for me as I walk a long distance from the parking lot to my building (the waterproofing is legit). Lastly, they didn't have that stupid pull tab on the back. I recently purchased a second pair so that I could slowly break them in as the OGs are starting to show their wear. The only reason I'm giving them a 4-star rating instead of 5 is because the "tan" color on the new models is much darker than my first pair. Otherwise, these boots are amazingly resilient. (NOTE: they are a little narrow, but I found them to break in well).

Have had these for one week and haven’t broken them in yet but are amazing and very comfortable. I had gotten the steel toe and size up at 13 and they fit amazing. Definitely recommend these boots for work or soft toe to go out in , they definitely are a versatile boots. Thank you Carhartt 🤙

Left boot was stitched/assembled crookedly where the upper lace section is stitched to the lower toe area. I have another pair that is fine so likely just bad run.Soft and Steel toe versions are ridiculously heavy and the soles wear out quickly. Nice looking boot but they just don’t last.

I love this brand. It’s very durable and they fit great. Hopefully they last a long time, but will be buying more eventually.

Needed a steel toe for work. Already had the soft toe version and loved it. These are just as comfortable.

Heavy and narrow......they are gonna hurt your feet for a long time ... otherwise good quality

boots are a bit narrow as others stated. Pinched pinky toe a bit. Also very slippery on frost or snow. Biggest issue is that both toes have split open at the top of toe. On my knees quite a bit for work so was worried about leather wearing out but its the stitching that broke open after only 3 months. Love the wedge and find much more comfortable. Very upset that these name brand, $200 boots did this. Should have bought boots in store, then I could at least take them in and get money back. Now I feel ripped off and gonna have to go buy new boots.
