M-1C Airborne Helmet Complete, Reenactor: This helmet features an original steel M-1 helmet shell in G to VG condition with correct Vietnam era M1-C Airborne chinstraps (they have the male snaps for the liner). Helmet liners are VG+ to EXC condition post war dated liners from the mid 1970's to mid-1980's. The helmet liners are correct Airborne liners with A-Straps and female press stud snaps to attach to the helmet chinstrap. These have fixed suspensions like 1960's dated liners, only the date stamp is different. Complete with NOS post war nape strap and VG to EXC postwar sweatband. Chin cups are in EXC condition. Complete with new reproduction Mitchell Cover or G to VG used condition original Mitchell Cover depending on availability. Helmet includes the correct elastic helmet band for the time period marked "Band, Helmet, Camouflage, US" without reflective "cat eyes." We can build the helmet with a USMC style Inner tube band if you prefer, please just message us when you order if you would prefer the USMC style. The default band you will receive is the Army style Elastic Band.

Perfect for my Vietnam Impression
This helmet is a great buy! It is perfect for any Vietnam war impression. The helmet came with all accessories needed for a complete Vietnam look. The helmet itself had some rust but that was to be expected and it is easily hidden by the helmet cover. With a little wearing, customize the cover with graffiti, and put some items in your helmet band and this helmet will make a great addition to any impression!
