Happy purchase
Works great. Caution: Do not use plate on the silicone mats for induction stovetops that can be used to cook with pots. It discolors the mat and interferes with heat transfer. I see customer reviews that use it with cast iron cookware. You don't need it for cast iron cookware. They work fine without it. However, Half of my pots work with induction, the other half do not so I needed to get different sizes. Cheaper items may not work at all. Watch reviews carefully. A couple of reviewers seem to use the same One-star complaint with all products. I like this product and would buy larger sizes if they offered them.

Defective or poor quality...
This product worked as intended for a few weeks of light use before breaking and becoming non-functional. As shown in the picture, one of the diffuser layers split, causing a loss of conduction, so it is completely unusable since the surface that the cookware touches no longer heats up. I did not misuse the product or wash it so it's not a moisture or misuse issue. This product worked very well up until this point, but I have to leave 1 star since I would not recommend this to anyone if they have this type of quality control problem. If I was able to exchange this for another one I would re-evaluate my review, but I am outside of the return window unless the seller would be willing to honor an exchange.

Solid metal, but doesn't transfer enough heat
It's solid metal that feels good quality. It initially heats up on two of my induction burners, but after a minute or so they stop with an error. Probably overheating because the plate gets very hot but the pan on top is only warm. I think it needs to be bigger to transfer enough heat to the pan.

So glad I found this.
I have a newly installed Invisacook induction system under a porcelain countertop. Although I replaced my pots and pans, there are some I didn't want to replace like my teapot that I use to cook Turkish tea. This solved my problem. After fitting the product with risers on the bottom so that heat isn't trapped on my porcelain counter, I gave it a go. WORKS AS ADVERTISED. My water boiled, my counter stayed cool near the plate and I got delicious tea with my standard teapot. FYI, 1) This plate gets HOT. It comes with a handle that detaches. Do not leave the handle on the plate while it heats up. Use it to lift the plate after you are done so you don't touch the Hot AF plate. It is not a coated handle so I'm fairly sure that if you leave it attached while the plate is heating, that will heat up, too. Just using some logic here. 2) No, the Invisacook system is not sold on Amazon but you can YouTube/Google it to learn more. 3) If using a regular induction stove or plate with glass top, you won't need risers for your plate. This method is specifically for the Invisacook/Counter system as the heat produced from the pan will be trapped between the pan and counter. The risers add airflow without interrupting the induction to keep my counter cool. Again, if you have a regular induction hob, risers are not necessary. You can use the plate directly out of the box and it will work. Update 10/21/2021: For those that asked about risers, hard to describe if you don't have an InvisiCook system. A better method that everyone can use is a induction mat under the plate to dissipate the heat. This plate, again, gets HOT AF so it can only benefit.

FIne for a coffee pot but not for much else
This is fine, except for one thing, there's a little piece of metal that sticks up, where the removable handle attaches. This makes it not flat for a frying pan. A coffee pot and maybe a saucepan will work. If it was flat then you could use any pot or pan on it. The handle is fine, but I haven't really been using it to move the plate after I use it. If I were to consider this before purchasing I might have looked for a completely flat one.
