Estroven® Maximum Strength (Health Food Pack, 30 Vegetarian Capsules)

I suffer early/pre mature menopause symptom 5 years ago - mood swing, hair loss, super dry skin. I was only 40. Then I did a lot of research and found a few remedy online. I was not very confident when I first decided to try this product. Next thing you know is that I have been taking them ever since. It did not show immediate results but it did make me "feel" better in the first couple of months and my symptom slowly go away starting the third month. It is a relief to me personally.In addition to Estroven Max strength, I also take low dose birth control pill, Xenesis Ep (natural estrogen/progesterone treatment) plus 5000mcg Nature's Bounty Biotin. This combo is the total solution for my menopause symptom since 3 years ago. It was based on trial and error experience. The most important thing is the hair loss stop, mood swing is minimal. I have dry skin myself but no longer super dry to the point I could not put up with it. This daily combo is not cheap but I think it is worth it. I will keep this daily regiment until the symptom come back as I really grow older. So far I am good :) Don't forget to eat reasonably health, keep physical and mental active plus be happy as well thankful inside your heart.

This product said that it was a ONE tablet per day formula, and when I got the product, it was the 2 per day. Thought I got a deal, with 60 tablets at 1 per day, when in fact it is 2 per day. Not happy. This was the only reason I ordered them from amazon. I could have gotten them locally for that price.Update:I contacted amazon via email, and expressed my concerns about getting the wrong item. (Two a day, vs. One a day), and they promptly refunded my purchase price from the seller, and asked me to dispose of the order that I had received. I hope there is a way to reorder, and get the One per day bottle. I will update here if I get the same (2 per day) item. I changed from 1 star to 3 stars . Amazon customer service is awesome.

I had great success with this product and wrote a glowing review just a few months ago. HOWEVER, I recently found that black cohosh which is a primary ingredient in Estroven can cause liver damage. I searched "black cohosh and elevated liver enzymes" and there are many reputable sources, such as NIH that write about this. The reason I researched it is I just had routine bloodwork and my liver enzymes are elevated (AST and ALT) after taking this product since Sept 2012. There are case studies with women having severe damage, transplants, and even death. If you are taking this supplement PLEASE ask your doctor to check your liver enzymes. Again, I hate not taking this product because it worked for me...just not worth my life. I stopped taking it two weeks ago and will be rechecked in three months.

This product arrived September 09, 2013. Upon opening the package, I noticed the expiration date is November 2013. The Caplets serving size on the bottle I received does not match the description. The bottle reflects 3 Caplets/Serving. At that rate you only have a 20 day supply, NOT A 30 DAY SUPPLY. The add is misleading.I took three today but it is to early to rate the product.My concern is the shelf life and if the maximum strength still applies to an almost expired product. I believe I read another post before I purchased that complained about the expiration date. Perhaps this is the reason the product is so inexpensive. Hope this helps.

I had a hysterectomy 21 years ago. I have never been able to take prescription estrogen because I have such a high family history of breast cancer...the doctors refused to give me anything. I have tried EVERYTHING over the counter that I could, that was safe for me to take...NOTHING worked! And trust me, I have had plenty of years to try anything and everything out there. I suffer terrible from hot flashes and night sweats. I tried Estoven and to my surprise, it works! It took about four days for me to notice that my hot flashes were less often and less severe. Now, three months later, hardly anything at all...no night sweats or hot flashes. And, I also noticed I am in a much better, happier mood all the time. Huh, I didn't even notice my moods weren't the greatest before, probably because I blamed my stressed out moods on my high stressed job. Not so anymore. Thanks Estroven!

Although you have take it twice a day. I take it with breakfast and again with lunch and if I forget I always have dinner (your suppose to take it with a meal). My night sweats are now on rare occasion and I do feel I have more energy throughout the day. It does take about a week of consistently taking it to get in your system and work, if you don't see results in the first few days, done give up at least take what you've bought. The price is the best that I could find and it came within a few days!

don't buy amerifit, it is not working, buy other brand! i purchased it because of the price but again the old proverbe - the chipper is more expensive! i use it for a month - NOTHING changed!, so, i'm moving to another brand. i'm experiencing severe hot flashes, on 1/2-1 hour frequency, already 7 years!, tried many different pills, herbs, some are working the first time, the second - not, so i decided to live with my hot flashes..., then red on amazon.com, that a lot of women are happy with estroven, but one said: "be careful about the ingridients", so different companies making estroven with different ingridients!!!!!??????????, why not - how to explain the differences in the prices!!! american pharmaceuticals!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - so, i'll try other brand now..., good luck to you all!

I took the hormone Premarin since my hysterectomy in 1992. In 2003 I stopped taking Premarin after numerous suggestions/warnings from my doctor. After 3 months of horrendous hot flashes and night sweats I went back to my doctor begging for another prescription of Premarin, not caring about the fact that my mother and maternal grandmother both died of cancer. Thank goodness my doctor insisted I forgo Premarin and instead take Estroven Extra Strength along with vitamins B, C, D, and E. I HAVE NOT HAD A HOT FLASH OR NIGHT SWEAT IN OVER 8 MONTHS! Having to take this everyday is well worth it. I tell everyone I know about this wonder.
