For those customers who want to know MORE than just......
how quiet this is and want to know if you are truly going to get a COLD AIR BREEZE---the answer is no. This performs no differently from a regular box fan that one can purchase at Walmart for $8 - 10 that simply blows around the warm air. It is not, by any means, a "freon" type air and if that is what you are looking for---keep looking.

Never got a remote
Love the fan. It's a little on the shorter side of the other models we have, and a little smaller, but it kicks out a fair amount of air. Never got the remote. Tried contacting the seller to see if they could just send us the remote without having to box up and return the entire thing. Haven't heard back from them.=/
