Super Assilex Flexible Sanding Sheets Job-PAK, Sky K-600, U191-1508, 4 Sheets + 1 M Hand Pad for Half Sheets

I picked up the 600 and 800 grit packs after seeing them recommended in a YouTube video, and I’m really impressed. These sanding sheets are flexible, easy to handle, and give a super smooth finish without clogging up quickly. They work great for fine finishing and have held up better than most sanding products I’ve tried. Definitely glad I found these—highly recommend for anyone doing detail work.

Quite expensive, but probably the best sheet abrasive I've found for fine tuning nitro lacquer and shellac. Plus it seems to last well and not load up like regular wet and dry. Any accumulation can be wiped off with a towel. Produces and almost flawless result ready for final polish. Highly recommend.

incredible! Excellent for precision work like flattening clear nitrocellulose lacquer sprayed on a guitar body. It’s very flexible, works with a variety of backing pads (firm or soft) and easily sands curved areas without inadvertently sanding through to the primer or wood. Best of all it does not load up with dust, if some dust accumulates it will easily wipe off on an old towel. Much easier and higher quality than wet sanding, especially on irregular surfaces.

Really good sandpaper for projects with a lot of curves, nooks and/or crannies. The flexibility makes it easy to sand curves and tight spaces. It also lasts much longer than typical paper backed sandpaper. The hook & loop backing is great for using their foam or their rigid pads when sanding flat or nearly flat areas. It would be nice, however, if they offered a coarser grit than 240, but the 240 works well for reasonably aggressive sanding. I would give this a five star rating if it weren't for the fact that Super Assilex is among the most expensive sandpaper I have ever bought. 3M used to make a flexible sandpaper that was as good or better than this at a far, far cheaper price point. But for reasons unknown, they discontinued it. Super Assilex is the closest things I've found to date.

I really like these sanding sheets. They are top quality and last much longer than traditional sandpaper even of high quality. However, unless you have a backer of some type, its just too flimsy to give you good sanding without rolling or binding. Also the price is ridiculously high for the sandpaper. Its still my favorite sandpaper so far, but just not something I can purchase all the time because of the price.

Bought a huge pack of cheap sandpaper a while back and have been using it on small projects. It always worked okay, but would easily get clogged up and leave pigtails that were visible come paint time. Been watching a automotive paint channel and came across these, and they're actually awesome. Cut super well, leave very minimal scratch, and can easily be cleaned and used for way longer. You can just tell the better quality the moment you hold it in your hand. Cheap ones have a stiff paper backing that creases easily, these are a thin flexible material that can conform to any shape.

does not create hard edge scratches. Works very good. pretty expensive though.

While searching through Amazon for products to restore my daily drivers headlights I stumbled across a reviewer who used these sanding sheets and some 2K spray can clear. Gotta admit it’s quite the combo! I’m super happy with the results. With hand sanding I was expecting a long daunting process vs the drill bit tools I had used in the past. Not the case being able to dry sand and just keep a steady pace allowed more control and I was a lot less worried about something slipping and sanding into the cars paint. Also a lest less messy being able to dry sand. My first time trying this approach and I’m happy with the results. Just need the clear to dry so I wash the car 🤫

Wish i had found these before. Don't think i'll be using other normal sandpaper for finishing guitars again. Would recommend. They might be a bit expensive but they do last longer than other wet & dry. The other thing which is good for guitar finishing is that you don't have to use them wet ! Fantastic.

Really good for finishing and levelling lacquer for a high polish. A good cut but shallow, so not taking off too much material. No need for wet & dry sandpaper any more. doesn't clog up as normal paper just wipe on a cloth and it's clear and ready to go again. Love it.

A little pricier than I would like but these sheets are fantastic quality.

Very pricey but works well to sand base coat for nibs etc before final base & clear
