Looks great. Nice quality
I give myself 2 stars for installation, but 5 starts for the product itself. Sure it took me 5 attempts to get it right, but order contained more than enough material to make up for my inability to hold my hand steady so it's a win-win. On the *6th* try it looked great! I'm sure my 4th try was good enough, but I had to "get it exactly right" before I was happy. Really like the feel of the material. Forms well to the slight curves and indents. As you can see in my photo I'm slowly blacking out everything I can. Changed out the chrome Cruzeย 3d Emblem CRUZE for CHEVROLET CRUZE Chrome with Black Replacement ย and LTย EMBLEM LT FOR CHEVROLET CARS CHROME WITH BLACK REPLACEMENT ย badges with the black upgrades and now the black bow tie sets it all off perfectly. I'm out here in the Phoenix area, so we'll see how well it holds up to 119 degrees in the shade, though with the flexible overall feel and thickness I'm confident it will survive many summers. Would buy again, but I think I'm pretty well covered with the full sheet I still have remaining.

Don't buy new emblems! These do exactly what you're looking for!
I did not expect much from these. I mean, it's a glorified sticker. When the wraps arrived, I read over the instructions, which are well written and easy to follow. They seemed easy enough, but I still had my doubts. I've since installed both front and rear and I am now a believer!I do not have a lot of patience and I tend to ask for help with this sort of stuff, but the reviews made it sound so easy that I just had to give it a try. It didn't go perfectly. I did screw up a little bit on the outside corners with my utility knife, but it didn't matter in the end. They do not go on like regular stickers. They seem to be attracted to the surface and air bubbles are not an issue - they come right out!All in all, I am very satisfied. I hate that Chevy is still using gold in their emblem and this low priced product really improved the look of my Suburban.

I get so many compliments on my car now :)
I went to a dealer and asked for a colored Chevy symbol and was told that they don't make them for my Equinox. I was heart broken. I came to Amazon. I found downardwraps and was so excited. I ordered matte black to black out my standard gold Chevy emblem. I couldn't wait to get it. I had a major concern could I a woman install this properly? Would it be hard? And mainly I wanted it to look professional. Much to my surprise it was so simple. Easy as 1 2 3! Came off and went one easy as pie. I was so proud to tell everyone how I did it myself. I get so many compliments on my car with this product. I even was educated by the dealership if I want to trade my cAr the sticker can be removed if the new buyer doesn't want the sticker without damage to the car!

Good quality
I bought these years ago and put them on two different cars on the front and back emblems. They are still on both cars and I even have a couple sheets left. The directions tell you exactly how/when to apply. I used an exacto knife to get a clean precise cut.

These look really good when taking the time to apply, but - take your time (emphasis) -.
Applying the vinyl to the front emblem of truck went better than the rear, so I'll need to re-do the tailgate. I did follow the directions as best I could, but I've never applied vinyl decal to billet emblems before, so it was 50/50. The front did go on better when I had a better idea of how to do it.But in the end, and even looking at it from a distance, these look really nice. When they say to take your time to do this, really, take your time if you want it to look really good. Don't apply too much heat and make sure you clean the surface thoroughly. When cutting the excess off, cut in an outward motion or you'll cut too much of the vinyl to cover the entire emblem.

Just OK
It works OK. I agree with the other reviewer on how the material is not very sticky. It scratches very easily, and is a pain to get into the corners. Really requires a lot of heavy manipulation to completely cover the emblem and corners while trying to manage any air bubbles, etc. For my 2008 Chevy cobalt this was definitely a problem.Ive noticed on other Chevy models the emblem is the size of the broad side of a barn, so I'm just going to assume using this decal on those models is a walk in the park. My emblem is a lot smaller, tighter corners, smaller lip. So in all, it depends on your vehicle, and now much work you put into it, maybe Im just not that good at these sort of things. Would I purchase this again? No. For future buyers, if you have a smaller emblem, I'd go with the plasti-dip method for blacking out your emblems. That will be my next go around at this

Skeptical at first
I was really skeptical at first. I wanted the "look" on my bow ties but I had my doubts that a vinyl sticker would work. The emblems are textured too which added to my skepticism. I was pleasantly surprised. Arrived on time with enough product to do 4 emblems. I traced my emblems on a regular piece of paper the cut the sheets delivered down to a rectangle the size of my emblems to make it easier to work with. I followed the supplied instructions and used an exacto knife to trim and a credit card to press it into the crevases. I am now a believer. Great product that worked as advertised. I have enough left over product that I can re apply if needed later. Worth the purchase

Looove my cover-up. I was hesitant after reading some of the reviews but it is so easy to do I had no problem at all. The material I thought was actually pretty thick, I was able to get it on smooth it out very easily and took my time to cut and not just rip and tear and I love it. Even my husband is talking about ordering some and having me do his too. I did watch a YouTube video of someone doing it and I think that helped me along with the very clear instructions that come with it. I am just more of a visual person the video was very helpful! Thank you!! Items came very quickly in mail as well!
