Pliers, WD-40, a soft harness, and a dog, and you've got everything you need. Five stars.
We ordered this for our small Boston Terrier and I'm incredibly impressed with how easy it was to install and use. The only thing missing from the picture of the product is the actual "leash"! Yes, this does come with a lead line - I ordered a 20' one because I didn't see that there was one included with this set. What does come included is shorter, I'd guess around 12' to 15' (I didn't measure it because we did end up using the 20' lead I'd purchased separately since we already had it).I installed one screw hook into a deck railing - it was tough to get started but then I was able to turn it by hand. When I couldn't do that anymore, I grabbed a plier and twisted it that way. Then you install the spring so you can really tug hard on the other end of the line when installing. Make sure you put the pulley wheel on before you attach the second end!I put our second end around a tree branch and tightened it off with the clips. It has been up over a week now with daily use and hasn't sagged at all. My only complaint is that the clip that attaches to our dog's harness has already started to rust just from laying out in the grass - I'd recommend a light coating of WD-40 every so often, and maybe a place to hang the hook when your dog isn't outside. Also, it's probably common sense but please don't put your dog out on a pinch collar or choke chain. It's going to take your dog a while to get used to this - ours gets tangled sometimes and I shudder at the thought of what would happen if she was tied out with her collar instead of a soft harness.Anyway, great product. You probably won't need any special power tools to install this. It seems like it would work for very large dogs as well. I'm very happy with this purchase and would only recommend the WD-40 so your dog doesn't get rust on its fur.

Durable and Long
I compared numerous options for a long and yet highly durable trolley for our yellow lab pup and this was the best combination of the two qualities. The spring on this trolley allows some give to save your dog's neck if they're a jumper or enjoy testing the line regularly as ours does. The added washers and fasteners allow you to stop the line before it hits your house, trees, etc. For many months the caster has been moving smoothly with no hang ups to date. For set up we pre-drilled both holes for the ends of the line to make screwing the eye bolts into our deck and a tree faster and easier. Also, for added stability we wrapped one end around the tree and then fastened it through that eye bolt instead of just fastening to the eye bolt. We added black electrical tape behind each of the stopping washers (mentioned above) to make it less likely for the washers to move. Now that this system has been up for many months the line has stretched a small amount so we will be tightening the line to take up the small amount of slack.A previous reviewer mentioned that it's missing the tie out line from the trolley to your pet and that is correct. I do not see that as a down side, however, since I was then able to choose which tie out would work best and I think the price of this item for us was more than fair not including the connecting line. We purchased the Boss Pet - 20ft Beast Dog Tie Out with Spring to go with this trolley system. So, since I could choose my own tie out I got one with swivel snaps, an extra spring, and bull snaps to make the connections more secure. Our pup is regularly testing this line while trying to "make friends" with all the wildlife in our yard and we've been extremely happy with it's performance, durability and ease of use.

Fantastic For Large Strong Puppies
We got a 8 month old Akbash (Livestock Guardian Dog) who refuses to be contained. After constantly climbing out of her 6' enclosure, we decided to try this. I was a bit skeptical that it would hold her long term. We also tried the spiral anchors you put in the ground & she ripped those out. She has been on this tie out trolley for 3 months (knock on wood) & jerks on it periodically when she sees raccoons, foxes, deer, other dogs, etc in the surrounding fields. It is still holding up well. She chews on it & pulls on it & so far hasn't broken it. For reference, she weighs about 80-85 lbs & is full of energy. We did use some other anchor bolts. The ones that come with it weren't heavy duty enough.

Strong, well made
It's a nice trolley but I ended up using a 15 foot plastic coated metal line attached to our front porch railing and his harness to let my dog roam the yard with my 81 year old mom while I'm at work.A recent separation forced me me bring my 110 pound golden retriever to her house. He would drag her if he saw a squirrel or another dog. I can hold him, but she can't. Eventually I'll put the run up, but I don't have a drill so it has to wait. It's great quality though

Must have for dogs
love this trolley!! We have and older German Shepard that is starting to go blind but is still very active. This tie out has been great! I am no longer worried that he will get in the road and the tieout is strong enough to put of with his constant running and tugging on it. We can leave and not worry about the dog getting tangled up as well. I would would buy this product again and have told my friends about it. Only thing I wish is that it had a way that tieout could go around a tree and still have the trolly work with out binding up this way we could have used all 75 feet of it.

Works as expected at a fair price
I bought this dog run cable for my Shepard mix 75 lb dog and it works fine. 75' of cable has been up 6 months now and no signs of rust. Adding a little oil to the nuts and bolts help keep it rust free. Not having a fenced yard this run and a long lead gives my dog plenty of room to run around. Just have to watch out for the lead coming off the run when he's running around. It could wrap around your leg or something.

Good for small dogs in an arid climate
This kit is great for small dogs, but not sturdy enough for big ones. Also will rust in the rain and snow. So if you live in an arid area, and have a dog under 20 pounds, this is the zip line for you. Otherwise, don't waste your time and money.

Very strong, durable.
My 82Lb Pitbull Rottweiler mix large breed dog loves this leash! We recently moved into a home without a fenced backyard so this was the perfect solution. He can run freely and it does not tangle. He even ran "too" far and pulled the leash to the max, it withheld and there is no damage to the leash or and any injuries to my dog. Very happy with this.

Easy to put up BUT would suggest getting a second person to help you to get full tension on the line before finishing the installation. Because I'm a ridiculous 'oh I can do this myself' twit, I did just that, so I have sagging. Otherwise, works well.

Snapped
I have a 50lb pitbull and he ran across the yard chasing a kitty, and the leash snapped.
