One person assembly and parts easily identified
The scariest thing is putting these things together but this is the second one of these that I've bought. I'm a senior who assembled this without any assistance. Assembly is all picture-based and very simple. I didn't time it but I think it took me less than an hour due to the simple pictures. The unit is very sturdy and I even bought an A/C adapter strip to attach underneath for additional power outlets. I was able to screw in a few small screws to mount it.The sides are metal so I bought some magnetic hooks to hang Headphones and cables. Just an awesome buy.The only thing that took a few minutes was screwing in the casters on the bottom. The little wrench that they provided works okay but I found that my own wrench was much faster.

Perfect - Makes my PC mobile
I was looking into buying a laptop because I want the option to change rooms with the computer. I was sick of doing all my work in the office and away from my family. But the laptop I would need would cost A LOT (I'm a designer and need a powerful computer), and I also didn't want to be limited by a small screen. So, instead of buying a laptop, I thought maybe it would work to get a mobile desk for my computer instead. That way I could move it from room to room and be able to be more social. My husband had his reservations about me getting a mobile desk. The ones he had seen were really flimsy and a waste of money. I looked at several of them here on Amazon, and this one caught my eye. I went ahead and bought it, and it's been PERFECT. It's sturdy and feels like it will last a long time. I can wheel it into different rooms and use it easily. It's let me turn my PC into a laptop...minus the lap part. :) I can sit on the couch and work on the computer. Or I can use a little stool and work on it. It's been AWESOME. I LOVE it.My husband is impressed with how sturdy it is and says it's not at all like the ones he had seen before. He assembled the computer onto it. He used zip ties to secure the tower to the bottom shelf. Then I have two external hard drives that he also ziptied to the bottom shelf (so that they won't fall over or move around when it's being moved around). I ziptied all the cords in the back into a bunch and secured it to the metal bars across the back. We also have an extension cord (capable of handling this) so that I can work on the couch. The whole thing is very secure and works great. It's small and takes up very little space. If you are short on room, this is a great little desk. If you need something to turn your PC into something more mobile, this is perfect. I absolutely love it, and it's really changed things around at our house! It makes getting my stuff done way easier because I can work on it when I'm stuck in different rooms for whatever reason, etc. I would highly recommend it to anyone who needs something like this.

Quality Materials, Sturdy and Good Looking
After looking through many, many product descriptions and inspecting computer desks at several local stores, I decided to purchase this Mayline Eastwinds Argo mobile desk. The quality of the materials is superior to other brands in this price range, and I suspect in many that are more expensive. Although the "medium cherry wood" is vacuum-formed thermofoil, it has a very pleasing appearance with a realistic woodgrain texture and is very sturdy. The metallic gray metal has a subdued look to it -- not shiny chrome by any means. It has a very professional look to it. (And there's no glass to worry about.)Although the assembly instructions consisted only of well executed diagrams, for the most part, they were easy to follow. The sliding supports for the keyboard tray had several holes that could be used for attaching them to the metal braces and the diagram didn't give a clue as to which holes were to be used. I opted for the arrangement that would allow the tray to slide out the farthest and that worked. I assembled everything by myself, but a second pair of hands could've made it a little easier. All parts, including the various screws, bolts and a wrench, were clearly identified either with stickers or stickers on the bags. The only other tool required is a standard Phillips head screwdriver. All screw holes are either pre-drilled or machined for easy assembly. The package arrived several days sooner than expected and was in very good condition. Unfortunately, due to poorly designed inner packaging, two of the parts were slightly bent. One, a support rod for the bottom shelf, was placed in the back so it's out of sight. The other, the bottom shelf, was easily reshaped and placed so the imperfection doesn't show.I received free shipping on my purchase, but even if I had to pay for the shipping, it would still be a bargain!

Good desk for the price.
I was able to assemble this desk quickly - probably around 45 minutes. I had one minor issue with a bolt not fitting but I was able to work around it. Not a big deal at all.As a gamer, I'm used to having my mouse at a high sensitivity setting, so I don't need a lot of room to move the mouse, but you would be wise to check to make sure this isn't a problem for you. The bottom tray where the tower goes was slightly dented but that doesn't matter to me. Also, the tower does not really fit the "normal" way - I had to put it on the tray sideways, but I was already planning on doing this. It makes reaching the cables easier and I don't have a CD/DVD drive in my computer, so having the tower sideways was not a problem. The included instructions are not anything special, but you should have a general idea of what goes where just by looking at the desk. The two pieces that need to be together - the metal side of the desk and the pullout tray that attaches to the metal side - are all individually labeled, so you can't mess that up. I forget how the letters go exactly, but say, for example, that the sides are A and B and the tray sliders are C and D, and that A and C go together, as well as B and D. I didn't notice this initially, but I attached the pieces correctly just by looking at them.Overall, solid desk. Time will tell how it holds up.

bottom tray for PC should be deeper for complete support, access and room for usb port connections.
package arrived damaged and assembly was hindered due to having to drill out two of the machined bolt holes in order to get the bolts through. I would like a partial refund or I will need to return.
