WillowPads Cloth Feminine Pad-Regular Black 3 pack [Health and Beauty]

These a sturdy and absorbent, but also bulky and rather uncomfortable. I've never been a big pad fan and these have been untouched since I bought a Diva Cup (love!). Still, if you prefer pads, this is a good quality product.

I really like these and I use them as backup for my divacup on my heavier days when it leaks. However, I ordered a box of 3 regular-sized black pads and one of them turned out to be a long one. I think it will come in handy too, but what I really wanted was three of the regular-sized ones, which work great for cup backup. I've washed them twice and they look fine. Stay in place pretty well too. So much better than disposable pads...I can't stand them anymore!

This is the first time that I have ever tried re-usable menstrual pads, and I chose these because they do not use any plastics in them and are a great quality. This is my first menstrual period using them and all I can say is that this has been the most comfortable period that I've ever had in my life. The pads are so soft, and they are not bulky at all. They feel so good, I wish my underwear was made of this material. This is also the first period in a while that I have not had any itching/burning that I get with the disposable menstrual pads. I'm converted and never going back!I was also going to keep the fact that I use re-usable pads from my family a secret (they think along different lines than me, and often make fun of me for my environmental/health concerns while preferring convenience) but changed my mind because these pads just feel so amazing. Who knows, I may have a convert?The only thing that I really would like different is to have inserts with wings. My period tends not to flow straight, especially if I am sleeping/lying on my side. Sometimes I get menstrual flow on the sides of my underwear, so I used to buy the disposables with wings. It would be nice to have that kind of protection on the sides with these too.

I like the idea, but I really do not like this product. The inserts are very skinny making it uncomfortable sitting on hard surfaces (like a chair). The inserts are all slightly off in size as well. There is no waterproof or water resistant backing either. I guess these will be used as my back ups for my menstrual cups until I can get some different ones.

Although these might be a little pricier than other reusable pads for sale on Amazon, their amazing softness is worth it! These arrived very quickly, so I was pleased to get them right away. They did shrink a little bit when I did my first three washes of them, but are very soft. I can use just the outer part as a pantyliner, or add inserts as needed. I generally use these as backup with a menstrual cup, or on light flow days. With the inner part, they do tend to be a bit bulky, but all cloth pads are going to be bulky. I love that the wings wrap around my panties securing them in place. I've only had them for two months, so I can't speak to how long the snaps last over time. But they seem very sturdy. I have urethritis, so I am super sensitive to anything with chemicals in it, so these were just perfect for me!Thanks for making such a wonderful product!

Love these. Soft, comfortable, no TSS, no chemicals, better for the environment, saves money in the long run over disposables... I could just go on and on. Yes, switching to cloth does require something of an investment to start with, and you will need to make sure you rinse and launder your cloth pads properly to avoid the growth of bacteria, and they can be bulkier than disposables, but believe me, ladies, it's worth it!

I bought the 3 pack in black with extra inserts. I originally bought these because I do alot of camping/hiking and thought they would be easy to wash,dry and re-use. I also wouldnt have to carry around a bag of garbage of used tampons or pads in my backpack on my camping/hiking trips either. I love them and I use them at home now for every period. I am potentially saving LOTS of money (I added it up and buying disposable tampons and pads would total me around $800-$900 a year)they keep garbage out of the landfill and are way more comfortable than pads. They feel comparable to my underwear against my skin and I REALLY like that there is no extra moisture or sweat between my legs. I only gave these 4 stars because At first they felt a little bulky and if you wear tight stretchy pants (yoga or tight exercise pants)you can see that there is a little something there. No show with jeans or thicker material pants though. Since I have the outer shells in black they do not stain. The inserts do have some discoloration on them after being washed but I dont rinse them in cold water right away like reccomended. Depending on how much you do your laundry you might want to invest in a wet/dry bag to keep the used ones in or some kind of container.
