Düsseldorfer Löwensenf - Extra Scharf - (200 Ml/8.4 Oz Tube) - Very Hot Mustard That’s Original for Sure

The first time I had this, I was in Germany and fell in love on the spot. A little goes a long way, as this stuff really packs a punch! The flavor is that of your typical yellow mustard, but you can tell they use good quality ingredients giving it a more intense taste. I mostly use this on sandwiches or blob some on a charcuterie board. For mustard, it's very hot, but as far a heat on the tongue goes, I'd compare it to Frank's hot sauce, but there's a catch. The heat is more like a horseradish heat that hits you right in the sinuses. If you use quite a bit, it's got one hell of a sinus kick! Wife made me a sandwich once and used it like regular yellow mustard (I like a lot of mustard). I finished it, but I may or may not have shed a tear while pounding the table a couple of times. I will be a lifetime consumer of this product.

Wow! What an amazing taste! It has no preservatives, has a decent amount of heat and is very versatile. I used it on hot dogs and pretzels and it was amazing. It arrived undamaged, and properly sealed. Thank you!

The mustard tasted good but unfortunately I had to throw it away. It came with large holes in the tube and mustard was everywhere in the package. This item is not available to be returned so I’m out the money and the mustard. Buy the mustard at a grocery store and not from this seller as it will likely be exploded before it gets to you.

Taste great

I lived in Germany for 18 years and had a nostalgia for some bratwursts that would need some brown mustard. What I love about this product is that they offer different levels of "scharf" or spiciness. The extra-scharf might be too strong for some but I did enjoy it. It is fairly expensive for a tube of mustard and it doesn't go well with all meats or cheeses. I vote for more authentic German products on Amazon!

Changed review to 5 star after receiving, notification changed to take another month to receive but it came 3 days later, so took about a month. That said, product is excellent just wish I could have had a reason for delay and I would have been fine with it, not knowing always makes you wonder if you got ripped

I have used this for a while. I love hot mustard, and this is unique as it is just mustard, the heat does not come from horseradish. I recommend starting light and increasing the amount as it is potent. My only issue with my particular order is the 2 tubes I received expire within 4 months of my receiving an order which is a bit odd for a product packed in a metal tube. The flavor and quality was as good as other tubes I have received with longer dates.

It is the best, please let know when is going to be back in the market.

Habe den Senf auch verzweifelt im Supermarkt gesucht, da gibt es nur die Gläser. Ich ziehe lieber Tuben vor!
