This chair is lightweight, easy to fold up and load. I don't know if it would fit in your Ford escape. Sorry.

Q: How does thus attach at top ti stairs

There is a pin on each side of ramp. Need to drill hole indoor sill to push pins into and hold ramp on sill

Q: Some ramps are designed specifically for wheelchairs. Can this ramp be used with a person using a walker?

I think it's too short for that.
