Lemongrass Fresh 12 Stalks from TastePadThai. Free Fresh Kaffir Lime Leaves

The bundle of lemon grass stalks arrived on time, and were fat and healthy, not withered and tough as often is true of lemon grass purchased in a grocery store. I will definitely order from this vendor again, as the vendor provides extremely high quality merchandise.

I use lemongrass to keep the mosquitos away in summer. I try to almost like my patio with it, but it takes so many to do that. Instead of spending 3x+ the price for rooted stalks, I buy these in late January/early February and take the outer layer or 2 off, and stick them into a rich/loose soil mix in little 2-3" nursery pots, put them where they get a lot of light, and water frequently. By April/May I have gorgeous big lemongrass plants that'd cost me $30+ at a nursery for a less than a tenth of that cost per plant. This is my third year buying from them and I've always gotten 2-3 extra it seems. If you're buying these to grow, pay for the expedited shipping, it's totally worth it.

Terrible! I tried contacting them over and over. I got one response and never heard anything again even after they were contacted by Amazon. They did not fulfill the order as described. It was missing the kaffir lime leaves and the quality of the lemongrass was subpar. I will NEVER order from them again.

Just got these in August 2024, sent lemongrass are chunky and in top-notch condition. Some even have roots on them and almost ready to plant. Just a few days in a little water and they should be ready for the pots. I would say to buy lemongrass in the heart of summer to get high quality rather than in late fall or in cold winter. These lemongrasses are a go!

Item came quick and packed well. Only issue I had is instructions on preparing for growing. Had to go back on website and hope I'm doing it right for root growth.

The lemon grass was ok, but had really seen better days. The top half was completely dried out and unusable. The bottom half was ok, but I had to peel of a few layers. Overall I hope someone figures out a better shipping system for fresh products.

Came close to dried, nothing like description or pictures. I had to peel off close to half the leaves as they are completely dried, dead I don't know if what is left will keep for cooking or will sprout into plants.It was for a good price, glad to have it as the stores are empty of lemon grass and have missed not being able to use fresh. Came a few days earlier than advertised which was nice. Just seems that quality has gone way down on products. I will do my best to get some life back into the grass. But sad about what I received.Update: I soaked the grass in water overnight after peeling off the dried leaves and cutting off the tops, I see green. I added one star. I washed all the dried leaves and re-dried in dehydrator and will use them in tea (boiling water only) they don't taste the same as fresh but still are delicious. The inner part of the grass that is showing signs of life are now setting in a vase of water with a few willow sticks so hopefully it will root. I am feeling better about the situation, I might end up with a few plants and of course I also have enough for a few meal. worse comes to worse if they don't start to root I will dry what is left.UPDATE: More than half my order did sprout so I've been using fresh lemon grass when ever I want, I want to give 5 stars because I can't help thinking that the lack of fresh lemon grass in my local stores and the sad state of my order might have some thing in common. I would order from this company again and see if quality improves in better times.

These came in big and fat. Ready for cooking or planting. I plant them. Before permanent planting spot, I put them in a large nursery pot with good flower potting soil and let them root for a few days, then I move them to the spot I want them. I highly recommend. See pics.
