Amazing insight and fantastic application of timeless truths! Heather's stories and her transparency captures your heart, and keeps you from having to just slog through the hard work of relating to one another. I have already warned my husband we will have homework should he deploy again (though I am tempted to go through the study together now). Although the book is aimed toward military couples, the principles within are certainly universal--any marriage would benefit from the wisdom she relates. Heather, thank you for your faithfulness!

Bought one for my husband and one for myself to read "together" while he is deployed overseas. I am so thankful for the author of this book although her story is quite heartbreaking. I would recommend it to any couple who will be separated by a military deployment to keep their relationship strong despite being apart.

So thankful for this journal/devotional. It is something that will keep my husband and I connected throughout his deployment.
