Update - Blew my mind with flavors!
Updated after roasting in my Carretto Style Bread Machine/Heat Gun roaster. I roasted a pound up to a similar roast as I laid out below. Dark but not at the second crack, maybe just before. These beans are still good, and I’d describe them as having good balance at this roast. Their is a bold toasty and smooth flavor which I prefer in my coffee, although it’s not as pronounced as I prefer, and their is an old school bitterness normal in coffee but a little more pronounced here, though enjoyable. There is not a winery or sour flavor at this Roast, which is good for me. Not sure if I can pin point other flavors much more other than slight spice like cinnamon and slight cocoa notes maybe.I’ve been home roasting in a popper and bread machine/heat gun for 4 months, and have used beans from Amazon and Lola Savannah in Houston, TX.I don’t have temp measurements so I roast by sight and sound. These beans can in 3 days ago, and I was looking for an organic and closer to home single origin bean. I’ve had Starbucks and other Guatemala coffee and it’s fine, sometimes a little acidic/sour/tart, but not bad, usually medium/darker roast. So I thought I’d try these. So I tested a small amount in the popper, roasted for about 10 min, past first crack, and then watched and timed it so that it got to a dark brown color but not a dark roast.I let them degas for 14 hours, and just brewed a small amount in my French Press.I just blew my own mind!! I’m telling you the flavor was rich, with clear hints of spices like cinnamon and cloves, and maybe cherry but not tart or sour.Amazing! I hope this helps the farmer and the home roaster if looking for a bean like this.

Medium Roast - Very Nice
I received my package of beans a few days ago. Today I used my ceramic roaster to roast the beans to a nice medium roast. I also used my handheld grinder to grind the beans after degassing a few hours. Lastly I perked a small pot in my camping coffee pot. First of all you gotta love the burlap bag it comes in nicely wrapped in plastic for shipping. The coffee was a very nice cup. I tasted the marshmallow and had chocolate after tones (my palate). I enjoyed it very much. Looking forward to making it on an upcoming camping trip.

Not for coffee aficionados
Very tiny beans! Reminds me of Ethiopian beans..I know for fact Guatemala traditionally grows Arabica coffee beans, and for sure the beans I got are NOT Arabica coffee beans. If you are a single origin coffee geek this is not your beans!

Roasted at home in small batches
For personal use. Roasted to light to medium (short of, or at second crack). They tasted. . . like coffee. GOOD coffee. I had forgotten how good I was making coffee until I started my latest temp job, and tried the work coffee. Burlap bag is reusable and a nice touch. I would recommend these.

Great as a light-medium roast
Solid batch of beans! Decent as a full city roast, but awesome roasted to the cusp of medium (not all of the beans get to the first crack). Bright acidity — dark chocolate and tangerine notes. Best as a straight shot or as an americano. I roast my beans 70g at a time with a ceramic coffee roaster.

Taste Is Subjective
I did not like the taste of this coffee. At medium roast it tastes a little better then what we Americans typically find in our grocery stores but it’s a little to bitter for me.
