Nutritionally, it's bare minimum and I give this to the feral's in the neighborhood as part of their regular diet plus a smidge of wet and use as a dental treat for my own cat as it's quite crunchy and big enough to make him chew most pieces. The cats love the flavor. I dislike the amount of carbs and corn in it but the feral's have a hard times keeping weight on as I'm sure they've got tapeworms from fleas. This helps fill their bellies every morning and night.

We feed this to the feral cat group that we've adopted and they absolutely love it. I didn't give any stars for flavor because I personally have no clue regarding that or whether other cats will find the flavor as yummy as our little wild things do. The white tail deer, squirrels, and a box turtle living on our property also seem to find this food pretty tasty, so there is that. I don't feed this to my indoor cats as it's a bit strong for their aging bellies but we give them a piece or two from time to time as a treat. We usually buy this or another brand - the two are rotated so that our little guys don't grow tired of eating the same thing all of the time. I've fed this brand of kibble to my cats for several decades. They've all had super shiny coats, bright eyes and great health. Several of those outdoor cats were given this kibble as kittens and lived into their mid to late twenties, testament to the quality of this food.

I'm very happy with this food. For the price, it's a great value! My cats love it & I even use it as training treats for my dogs! I have it set up as a subscribe and save item, so I also get a discount with each delivery.

It's funny that amazon is asking me to rate the flavor of this cat food. I have not stooped that low, but I can attest that my cats will pretty much only eat meow mix at this point and will stick their nose up at all other cat foods. Don't listen to your aunt on facebook peddling those super expensive organic free-range cat delicacies. I wave my cats' bill of perfect health from the vet right in her face to prove that meow mix just fine for your cat. Go throw a string in their face and get your cat to exercise if you think your cat is some heckin' chonkster. Real lean, hunks of a cat eat meow mix for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and at 3am when they wake you up for food. I mean, I've seen my cats eat grass, dirt, and rubber bands. You really think they need food that costs twenty dollars a pound? Go save your money and let them play in the box this comes in.
