Tubing fit perfectly. it matched the original exactly.

Perfect fit. I was trying to repair this line on the refrigerator with no success. I went to you tube and got this part number and reviewed how to install a new line and it is as good as new.

My original water line got a pin hole in it on the backside, top-left of the fridge – near the spot where it goes inside the fridge to attach to the filter. The hose was the perfect size and easy to install. For me, the hardest part was removing the light assembly to get access to the water filter housing. Prior to purchasing this part, I had seen a video on how easy this part is to replace. Downside for me is could not find the video again to review this portion of the repair. I hope I don’t need to fix the other two lines, but if I do, I would not hesitate to purchase this part again.

One negative was that it took a long time to get the part shipped to me. Another negative is that the water line does not come with plastic clips. The refrigerator lines have little black clips that hold the line in place. If you break or loose them during repair, it would be nice to have them included with the new water line. The positive is that is looked and functioned like the original.

Father-in-law calls me up and says water is running out from behind is fridge. Found the water supply line from the back of the fridge running up to the ice-maker was split. Every time the ice-maker filled up with water or they used the water dispenser on the door, it became pressurized and sprayed water all over the wall. Looked up the part number on another website, and located the part here on amazon.com with way faster shipping (and a few bucks cheaper for the part itself). Was an exact replacement part, not a cheap imitation. Line is fixed (took less than 10 minutes and no expensive service call. The fittings are easy to release, no experience necessary!

This hose from LG was the original part. Water line runs from the water valve to the water filter assembly. Took 10 minutes to replace using the following steps: 1. Turn the power off to the unit. 2. Pull the unit out. 3. Shut the water off. 4. Remove the lower access cover. 5. Take the valve off the unit. 6. With the valve removed there is a clip that is under the ring that goes around the tube. Remove the horseshoe clip. Push in on the ring that goes around the tube toward the water valve and pull the tube out at the same time. 7. Go to the front of the unit and remove 1 screw at the front of the water filter housing. 8. Once removed, slide the water filter head forward. 9. Disconnect the small tube with the elbow on the back of the refrigerator. 10. Take the tubing out of the clips on the back of the refrigerator. 11. Once this is done you will be able to take the entire water filter head out. 12. This will allow you to be able to access the compression fitting on the back of the filter head to remove the tube like the one on the water valve. 13. You will then reinstall in reverse. Hint: Make sure that you push the tubing back into the fittings all the way.
