I am amazed at the price and delivery time especially during this quarantine, shelter in place period. The cost of anything and everything has gone way up since shelter in place was put into effect. With all the panic buying prices of everything just sky rocketed and delivery time was extended for weeks. But to my astonishment, this magnificent cooking utensil were such a great buy and delivery time was just 2 days where most of the other ones I was interested in will take up to 2 weeks due to the effects of the quarantine period. It's bamboo! Love it. Easy to use and doesn't scratch my nonstick cookware

This is a nice bamboo utensil set. The spoon is more of a paddle than a spoon though. If you're thinking of buying this or another bamboo utensil set, make sure to purchase a food-grade wood butter to keep the bamboo moisturized. The set I received was fairly dry right out of the package.

Almost 30 years ago I bought a wok and a three piece bamboo stir set. Needlessly to say, I never really figured it out and made a lot of big messes, burned all three utensils and out went the wok. A few years later I discovered how easy and delicious it was to make cheese fondue in an enameled cast iron pot but you had to use a wooden spoon to constantly stir it while melting the cheese. A normal wooden spoon is a little rough and the cheese was very hard to get off it. And then I remembered the wide flat bamboo spoon from the wok set and it’s perfect for fondue because it’s smooth and resistant and you can just rub the cheese off with hot water right after making the fondue - no soap! I’ve made a hundred fondues with that bamboo spoon and even though the finish wore off long ago it still works perfectly. But it won’t last forever and I’ve been looking for an exact replacement - bamboo with the same size and shape - and I finally found it in this set. Thank you!

They work just fine.

The curved spatula came splintered and is unacceptable for use on food as it would leave peices in the food, and is uncleanable. The straight spatula and the spoon are in good condition. They are each made from a single peice of bamboo, and other than the broken one, are as expected. I included pictures of the broken spatula, and also a picture of the straight spatula to show the thickness of the end, which is similar as other bamboo spatulas, but not as thin as plastic or metal spatulas are. It seems like they have sent a (damaged) spatula set that would be unsellable in a brick and mortar store.

I really love these. They are easy to clean and don't stain.

These wooden spoons work perfectly for rice and general sautéing, especially in nonstick pans. They hang nicely on hooks or on cabinet knobs (with the included black strings) and haven't split at all, despite having been left in very wet environments on occasion. The only questions worth asking are: Do they look good? Yes. And do they work well? Yes. You won't go wrong with these!
