It does help. Velcro straps can stretch and adjust to real tight.
The velcro straps are strong, stay in placr and allow plenty of room for adjusting how tight you want it. Im pretty small so i pull it in very tight and it does make a difference. I returned 2 other posture correctors and kept this one which i found was the best one. It doesn't pinch the skin either.

Great for support while walking.
Glad I bought this, good quality and fit was fine. Medium. Wish it pulled shoulders a bit more. I use it when I go walking. But all in all I was happy.
