Kim Possible 2019

This is a very good live version of the kim possible cartoon series. The characters were a lot like the way they were on the cartoon. Kim was cute and very athletic in the action scenes. Not like the cartoon but how can a person recreate Kim's amazing moves? Ron was nerdy and a good friend to Kim, Wade was like he was on the cartoon. Kim's Nana was feisty. Drakken was perfectly cast and so was Shego. The actress had Shego's sarcastic attitude down perfectly. The fact that they gave Kim a cyber friend was a good twist. Don't be so hard on the live movie. It is not like the cartoon but it is very good in itself.

The main problem with this movie is, actors either don’t fit their characters, or they’re TOO good and hearing spot-on impressions of cartoon characters from live people seems weird. Shego was perfect and what’s her face from Buffy playing Kim’s mom was a great casting choice. But besides that, as talented as the lead is, it was just kind of like “okay sure she’s playing Kim I guess.” Stunts were stiff and not believable.It seems to be trying to be both a prequel AND a reboot. Some things contradict the series while others set it up. For example, (spoilers) we see Ron meeting Rufus for the first time, but Kim’s met Drakken before. Nana reveals her crime-fighting past to Kim like halfway through season 1, but Kim’s also starting high school. Things don’t line up.Even for a kids’ movie, it seems childish. But if you grew up with the original series and showed it to your kids, maybe your kids will get enjoyment from this. You pretty much won’t.

I went in to this thinking it would be bad, but i love Kim Possible so i had to see it. Much better than i anticipated and i hope there is more to come. Draken and Shego were great. She may have been a little mid though. KP and Ron were really good. Mr.Barken however, confusing not an ex-military tough body builder guy. Adding a new robot friend in the first movie intresting, by but why are they just meeting Rufus after 3 years of this and i know they just got him but Kim has no interatctions with him until the end when she followes him in to what is left of a blow up building. Great ending intrested to see how this plays out. Not interactions with Mr. Possible the twins kinda sad.

Of course, this movie wasn't better than the original series, or movies but it was decent. I only wish they would've actually made the story seem less "So The Drama." If you've seen the STD movie before you watched this you'd understand. Meanwhile, the little changes in the live-action didn't bother me that much, but the way this movie ended has me thinking they're going to try to turn this into a live-action series. And honestly I'd watch it. lol

I watched this for Drakken and Shego and was not disapointed. Perfect characterization especially with Shego. The mannerisms and voices were as good as could be hoped for a live action. The villains far outshined the hero's just like the cartoon.Of course, it is still a cheap Disney live action, so there's ridiculous cgi, not enough oomf with Kim and Ron's acting, and unneeded acrobatics every five minutes. Watch more for the ridiculousness than to take it seriously.

Now i grew up on the OG Kim possible and that will always be my go to, but the movie wasn't a complete loss i don't like how they changed cheerleader tp soccer player that was pointless. Sheego was great dr. Drac was great

Arrived on time in perfect condition. Nice addition to our dvd collection. Our granddaughters love this movie. Will buy again from this vendor.
