It's OK, but way over-priced.
It's OK. For the size and cost, I don't believe it's a good value. Does it smell like menthol? I can't tell. In fact it has very little fragrance in my opinion, but that's OK, I was more interested in keep the balls cool and dry.First off I've tried, Gold Bonds powder, baby powder, and the Gold Bond spray. I must say this product somehow does manage to keep me DRIER than others. Yes, Gold Bond is messy, but their spray is much like this one. However I find that Gold Bonds powder or spray tends to break down long before Dry Goods. In the end, I'm not sure I can justify the cost, you get far more bang for your buck with a big thing of Gold Bond powder. If this product were $1.99/$2.99 it might be a better value.I've found the size is way too small, and it (like a lot of other products) doesn't feel like it's filled to the top. Almost like it's 75% full.ProsMuch less messy than Gold Bond powder or baby powder. No chemical/medical smell (like Gold Bonds).Last longer than Gold Bond (powder and spray). It does seem to allow you to spray it upside down, great for those hard to reach places.I could see a single guy keep a few bottles around (in the car, gym bag, probably not far from the condoms) for those occasional unexpected random booty getting momentsConsNot a good value (cost is much higher than it should be).Not significantly more effective than Gold Bond powder.Bottle feels 75% full, not 100% fullRuns out way too quicklyNo real fragrance (could be a pro or a con), but purchasing menthol I expected more fragrance

I'll save my money and stick with gold bond
I wasn't really sure what to expect when I bought this. I had a friend that loves it but there are some mediocre reviews. I wasn't too impressed myself. It does work, but not well enough to justify the expense. I'm comparing this to gold bond medicated powder since that's what I normally use. The first 3-4 times I used it the powder would go on chunky and make a huge mess. I started putting it on while standing in the tub to prevent getting it all over the floor. After around the 4th time it started spraying a thinner layer and it was much easier to use. I don't think the powder was any more effective or longer lasting that the gold bond. The menthol can burn a little if you spray it on immediately after getting out of the shower. The can only lasted about 2 weeks with once a day use while gold bond last me months. I think this is an effective product but I don't plan to continue to buy this powder. I'll spend less and just wash my hands after using the gold bond.Pros:keeps your hand cleaneasy to use when the can starts to spray a thin layermenthol has a nice cooling effect on dry skinpowder is equally effective as gold bondCons:very expensive compared to goldbondmenthol burns when used immediately after showeringcan only lasted 2 weeks with once a day usespray comes out thick and chunky during first several uses

GoodsAreDry
As a runner and cyclist, I use Dry Goods on an almost daily basis. It is by far the most effective product on the market for the prevention of chafing. I have also found it to be useful for moisture elimination. I used Dry Goods all winter on the elliptical and during other workouts. It worked perfectly but I hadn't really "challenged" the product. Well, I just did. Last week, I completed a 65 mile bike ride in 88-degree heat with very high humidity levels down in Florida and can proudly report that my "goods" remained dry throughout and a normally challenging ride was made much easier by Dry Goods. This is a terrific product and I would recommend it to ANY athlete. A total lifesaver.

but if you are a person constantly on the move like I am
It will keep you completely dry if you limit physical activity, but if you are a person constantly on the move like I am, at the end of the day, you will still have sweat on underwear, though the smell is gone, and very little swear actually makes it through. The convenience of application makes this product very worth it however.

My lady friend is also pleased.
An excellent product. Be careful and hold the spray the recommended 9" from your tender parts. It is cold and can be quite uncomfortable (for a period of time) if held too close. My lady friend is also pleased.

This doesn't burn like the gold bond spray (spray is the only thing gold bond that burns me). If you like a spray powder this is the best, but still a white mess so I highly recommend the gold bond friction defense roll-on. Best thing made your privates!

Menthol Not So Much
I used the Balla Body Powder for men for a while, so I thought I would try this method as something new. While the actually application of the product is good, I should of opted for the non-menthol version. The tingle is mild at best...which isn't the problem. Rather the menthol smell smells great when it goes on...but by the end of the day....well..not so much especially if you sweat. I've since gone back to the Balla and will try the original Dry Goods to see if there is a difference.

Too much tingle for me.
It turns out I don't like menthol that much. If I had gotten the regular I might have been more satisfied. Also, this is a large bottle and not appropriate for backpacking.
