OK replacement - "twistability" nothing like the original
This is a replacement (identical in appearance) to one I'd bought in West Berlin in 1969. The "twistability" of the modern version is a shadow of its former self. However, aesthetically & functionally it works great AFTER getting the previous set of pins in (it does not come with a pair of pins, save your old ones). I was able to manipulate it (VERY gently & patiently) into a single full twist in order to facilitate the pin install - one of the nice things about the original that made swapping it among watches easy. All in all, I'd get it again as a replacement. If a mint original came on the market I'd be happy to pay twice this price. Ultimately, it's just a watch band & since installing it on an old Casio that also refuses to die it's doing a fine job. The original had just developed some sharp edges and, after 37 years, lost some of its strength. Just take your time with the install.

Great for Pebble Time Steel
Very comfortable and matches the black pebble time steel very well. Does not snag arm hair like similar bands. Comfortable enough to wear all day. And, since I use my watch as an alarm, very comfortable and sturdy enough to sleep in. Very tough and scratch resistant, I have banged it around a few times at work with machinery, some paint came off but not really any worse for wear.

Wears out quickly
Paint began peeling off after about a year of use. This has Spiedel written all over it but I suspect it is a cheaply made forgery.

Watch Band
This fit perfectly and required no adjustment. It is a real bargain for the cost. I really like the satin black and it goes well with my watch.

Great look, poor quality.
Great initial look, but black finish tends to scratch pretty easily. Stopped using after 3 months use.
