Gets Me Past the Two O'Clock Crash
I had first tried Give Energy - Mojito Grapefruit at my local health food hangout, and I was hooked. Unfortunately for them, they only sold it in single cans, so Amazon got my money. Anyhow, I know my way around energy drinks, and one of the measurements I use is "can it get me past two o'clock"? Most energy drinks fizzle out around noon (Arizona Health Tonic, here's looking at you); the ones that last are a little dangerous -- Monster Energy Mean Bean/Kona, NOS, and Full Throttle. Monster Energy leaves me with "payback" if I drink it two days in a row; NOS can make me twitchy; Full Throttle makes my irises twitch. The last one is downright scary and as a result, I don't drink it any longer (I suspect it is the combination of D-ribose and caffeine). Now, it should go without saying that the drink must not only work, but taste good! The original Rock Star, Monster Energy, and Red Bull drinks are not even contenders because of their taste.Enter Give Energy. First, it tastes good. If you've ever had a mojito, you'll recognize the taste. Now, it won't taste like a mojito you get at a good Mexican restaurant, but the vital combination of citrus and mint is here and the two balance one another out overall. Sometimes you taste more of the grapefruit; other times you taste more of the mint. Second, it works -- it gets me past the two o'clock crash. The energy you get is a clean, stimulant, awake and aware effect, with a gradual fade out and not a crash. I've found that if I have one in the morning after working out, and if I work out in the evening, then I'm good for the day. Consuming it this way doesn't interfere with your sleep, either. Finally, I felt like I got a good deal. Compare the price of this to a Monster Energy Mean Bean 12-pack and see what I mean.So all in all, Give Energy does the job, tastes good, can be consumed regularly, and has a great price. I would try a can before ordering the twelve-pack, though, just to make sure you like it first.

Overall an excellent energy drink.
If you are used to natural type energy drinks, then you will not be disappointed. Some individuals who have only ever drank commercially available energy drinks may find it a little disconcerting at first. The drink is not thoroughly saturated with sugar, though it is lightly sweetened. I highly prefer this in my energy drinks. While I like sugar, perhaps too much, I would rather not crash off a sugar high an hour into studying. I also find that they are easier on my stomach. I enjoy the taste, though I highly recommend that you drink them chilled. I usually alternate between one of these and another particular favorite of mine. And for anyone out there who has celiacs, the can is labeled as gluten free.

Give Energy Drink
I bought these for a few reasons. I liked the art work as well as theirphilosophy. The flavor was a bit weird... Like maybe they were over-reaching... It had a nice texture, which may sound weird to say about a drink, but youcould tell they used real sugar as opposed to corn syrup. The 'energy' part to it was a bit underwhelming. I don't think I will buy this type again.

Horrible
The other reviews have to be fakes. I have been trying different Energy Drinks on Amazon these past few months and this stuff is by far the nastiest of all. The smell and initial sip is okay, smells like pear...but once you actually swallow it something is off. No words to describe it. I took one sip and dumped the rest out of my work truck. Will give the other 11 cans to someone else who wants to suffer...or I will just dump them down the drain and recycle them.

Two Stars
The Acai Blueberry flavor isn't good at all. As far as an energy drink it works though.

Medicinal
Flavor: 3/5This product has some sweet undertones of grapefruit, but has a prominent bitter flavor that would turn off most drinkers. It tastes more like medicine than the flavor it represents. (which doesn't bother me too much) Kind of reminds me of Beverly, though quite a bit sweeter. DEFINITELY AN ACQUIRED TASTE and for that purpose 3/5 stars. If you are afraid of forcing yourself to drink something the first few times, stay away from this drink!!!Kick: 4/5Not much to say here, it does what it's supposed to. Many energy drinks lack this trait.Idea: 5/5I love the idea of an all natural drink. Doesn't use nasty Corn Syrup. Donates to grassroots. Awesome.Overall: 4/5

Healthy Alternative
I was drinking Rockstar for over 2 years and so got used to the taste of it. I decided that I want to switch to a more natural alternative. At first taste of this new drink seemed strange, but after a while I got accustomed to it. It tastes like carbonated watery fruit juice.I did have to buy taurine supplement separately because this energy drink doesn't contain that. Taurine keeps my blood pressure low and heart healthy.Update: after drinking this energy drink for about 6 month, I switched to Monster Tea + Energy & Runa No Sugar. I didn't pay attention to how much sugar they had, I thought I switched to natural and all great. I limit my sugar intake for a longer life. These are still great on occasion, but I wish they replaced sugar with stevia or erythritol.

Great all the way around
I'm going to go as far and say this is by far the best tasting energy drink I have ever tried. As for the buzz I would give it an A-unlike other drinks, this guy really seems to put my focus on full alert and what ever I start I finish. Its also all natural etc and donates to sustainable energy. Believe me its great seeing as I am an everyday consumer of energy drinks.
