Cleansio Washing Machine Cleaner – Residue Destroyer and Odor Eliminator, 16oz

We own a cheap, front load washing machine. There have been literally thousands of bad reviews on it (I wish I would have googled it before buying it). It smells like sewage when we do the laundry, (apparently the machine doesn't flush all of the dirty water out of it, it sits in the machine only being flushed upon the next cycle). Because of this, we have been using Tide washing machine cleaner twice a month for years now to help with our stinky washer. The problem is with the Tide brand that it leaves my washer smelling like it has just been "masked" with a pungent scent, rather than actually cleaning our machine.Then our washing machine cleaner from Cleansi arrived.I used it immediately upon opening (that arrived super fast via Prime BTW). Not only was it super simple to use, but the best part for our family with small children? It didn't "mask" the smell of our stinky washer. It actually CLEANED it! The scent? Virtually nothing. Yeah, nothing. Just like a clean, newborn baby.We like using free & clear washing machine detergent (as well as dryer sheets) because we feel it's better for our children. Needless to say, we will be using this washing machine cleaner from Cleansi EXCLUSIVELY going forward. Not just for the ease of use & the (lack of) "masking" the smell of our machine, but because we feel it is safer to use for our family & small children by actually CLEANING our machine!!!!

I read all the amazing reviews of this and decided to try it on my front loading washer which gets musty smelling after a while. I usually do a "tub clean" cycle once every few months, wipe the door down with vinegar, pull back the rubber seal and wipe out the gunk and hair that accumulates in the drain holes, etc etc. It still ends up smelling musty even though we leave the door slightly open when it's not in use.I followed the directions exactly for this product, but didn't notice a huge improvement on the odor when I put my head in the drum to see how it did. So I'm not terribly blown away by it like most of the reviewers.I do appreciate that it doesn't have a strong scent - I'm not a big fan of perfumes or strongly scented cleaners. And I will use it again since I have a bottle of it...I'll update my review if I have some amazing experience with it, but so far I don't see it being more effective than vinegar and a hot wash cycle...which is considerably less expensive!

I’ve bought a lot of the two most common washing machine cleaners. What I got from them was about 2 days of strong scent in my house - then the odor from the machine was back. I tried using them weekly, and I’ve tried scrubbing all the crevices of my machine, but the odor persisted.It only took one cleaning cycle with Cleansio and the odor was gone. And has stayed gone. I keep walking into my laundry room and sniffing! The best part is I don’t smell anything - no foul odor and no overpowering scent that’s trying to mask the odor.I don’t know how this product can excel so well when similar products fail so miserably, but it does. This is truly an excellent product.

While cleaning the washing machine was never something I had every really thought about, I decided to try out Cleansio for the business washing machine. That machine gets daily use with filthy rags, towels etc. Over time noticing the buildup and odors, I’m glad I gave it a try. It looks almost like new again! I will definitely purchase again for the home washing machine.

With a house full of kids our washing machine is very busy! I noticed that while the inside of the washing machine didn't look bad, there was a definite smell to it. I tried the cleansio washing machine cleaner and was extremely impressed. Not only did it clean the washing machine but it completely got rid of the smell! Our clothes are coming out smelling like the laundry detergent that I love and not the bad smells that the bacteria in the machine was making. So simple to use and this one bottle will last quite a while! I will definitely be ordering more to keep our washing machine clean!

I purchased this product a few months ago, and waited before posting my review on it to ensure it was accurate. In short this stuff works, I have used a few products to try and get rid of the smell and markings that our front load washer so generously bestows upon us. I can say that after using Cleansio Washing machine cleaner, we have neither a rank smell nor markings on our clothes.One thing I will say is that after running Cleansio through the machine, the pump filter was plugged up with all sorts of grossness. Apparently years of gunk was released from the bowels of the machine. Clearly Cleansio did the job.Highly recommended.

To be honest, I was very skeptical of a washing machine cleanser. It has soap running through it all the time, why do I need to clean it? Well this product showed me why. I have a front loading washer and well water and it truly made a difference. After following the directions I not only had a nice shiny washer, but also a fresh one-the inside looked like it was brand now. Highly recommend. My only suggestion is that I wish it came with a cap or something to measure the 2oz needed for the load.

I'm a huge review reader, but I don't often write reviews myself unless I stumble upon something exceptional that merits a review. I have a big home with multiple sets of washers and dryers. When we bought the home the washers had not been cared for properly and were really quite gross and smelly. I've used other cleansio products that I've been happy with so thought I'd give this one a try as well to see if it helped the smell situation. It worked like a charm! I can't believe I seriously considered replacing these machines when there was such an easy fix available! Do yourself and your clothing a favor and get this cleaner!
