One out of the four was an excellent product it was completely different than the other three they’re really cheaply made very disappointing and one of them after installation when I opened the door it made a pop and it doesn’t work anymore their absolute junk great idea great concept three of them function, one of them is exceptionally well which I don’t understand they all came from the same place but two different items unfortunately I got one good and three of them that are junk and one out of those three that’s absolute garbage.

I use this to close my back door when my dog comes back in. It doesn’t close the door the whole way but I think that’s just because it’s a hard door to close.

I bought this for a very specific purpose. When working from home, I like to keep my office door closed. My cats are not delighted with this decision. If I close the door completely, they throw little tantrums which becomes quite a distraction. So I push the door closed but don't let it latch. That way they can push it open and come in whenever they want. But then I have to close the door again. And again. And again. I could install a pet door, but I don't really want to cut a hole in my door. I decided to try this instead.Does it work? Sort of. It puts enough tension on the door that when I open it, it closes behind me but does not push with enough force to make the door latch -- which is what I wanted. I should mention that it is attached to a standard interior door which is not very heavy. I'm not sure if it can be adjusted to add more tension or not. I haven't tried since the cats now have more trouble pushing the door open. With additional tension, I'm not sure they could.The problem is that while it does close consistently after I open the door, it does not completely close when the cats open the door. The wider the door is opened, the stronger the "pushback" effect. The cats push it open only about six inches and it just stays that way. So if I want the door completely closed, I end up having to close it myself -- again. And again.I'm giving it 4 stars because it technically does what I wanted it to do, just not perfectly. It was easy to install and seems durable. I was concerned that since there is constant tension on the device, over time it might tear up my door frame, but I've had it in place for nearly two months and it seems fine.

The Addams Family door opener. Great for turning any door into a haunted house door!I have tried 3 of these. One broke and 2 all suffered from the same effect of turning our door into a squeaky haunted house door. Creeeeeek as you open it and Screeeeeeeeek as it slowly closes it.Sadly this is the only one that fits how this rooms door is inset but it makes a great way of knowing when anyone enters or leaves a room.** Update: Spraying a decent amount of WD40 or other oil into the unit did stop the squeak and it has been working well thus far.

Does the job on a lightweight wood gate. Missing the flat metal plate shown in description that the rubber wheels are supposed to ride on.Also, oddly, there is a threaded female hole on the body that appears to be meant for a setscrew to lock the closer arm in place. A small (plastic?) UNTHREADED piece that works with the second included allen wrench was also included, but, being unthreaded, is of no use!

Using it for my closet door. So far it’s working great. The door closes softly and that’s a good thing for the purpose I need it for.
