Remarkable design/value - Worth ignoring flaws...
Update 8/26/2014 - As I said in the title... "Worth ignoring flaws", therefore I've upgraded my rating from 4 to 5-star. The process for the seller to replace the defective wheel was easy and took less than a week. I've now used this cart for a 14ft fiberglass canoe with all my day-trip gear (including battery & electric motor) and it works great. Remarkable design & value!+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++This cart is a remarkable value, superb design and very well made! I would have given it 5-stars if it were not for the annoyance of having to deal with requesting the replacement of a defective wheel. Otherwise, for the $25 price tag (+ shipping) it would not be possible to even begin buying the parts to improvise one's own cart. In other words, aside from defective wheel problems I consider many of the reported annoyances to be no-big-deal.For defective wheels others have reported `won't-hold-air-pressure'. In my case one of the wheels had small plastic `growths' on the inside of the bore, thus it would not fit over the axel. That's a DEFECTIVE product!Other wheel annoyances... Wheel odor in my Aug '14 delivery was no problem, no different than when getting new tires on my car. Both my wheels arrived deflated and inflating them requires finding a spigot that will fit in tight spaces (my bike pump didn't work). Note that the wheel valves need to be toward the inside of the cart, otherwise they will bump into the wheel-holding pin. Inflate to 30 psi max. Spray the axel with dry lubricant for extra measure (never oil or grease that would soon gunk-up).Holding your kayak or canoe securely... Just forget the flimsy hold-down strap that came with the cart. Instead I use the straps that hold down my canoe on my car's roof rack (metal clamps). Short as this cart is, I use one strap for each of the forward/aft under-canoe-supports. Once I line-up the wheels with the canoe and cinch-up the straps the cart-&-canoe are inseparable. The tripod stand is a great feature for holding the cart steady while you load you canoe/kayak, easily retractable once you have strapped down your craft.Cheers!

Actually a really great deal even with the smelly tires! I have a solution to help with the smell.
It's just my nature to figure things out, so I remembered that when I opened the box there was a yellow residue on the plastic bag and the smell reminded me of creosote. I proceeded to do some research and found out that people use creosote to soften hard tires. Ah ha! Then I went into my garage, pulled out some Gunk Engine Cleaner (Orange I thought would smell better). Took the tires off, put them in the yard on several sheets of newspaper, doused them in the cleaner (the yellow stuff started to melt off), waited 1/2 hour, poured liquid dishwashing detergent all over them (both sides) and then hosed them off. It's much better now although I certainly wouldn't store the cart inside the house quite yet.I really appreciate the humorous reviews, I just about fell out of my chair on @Archimark1, but it's almost true. I went ahead and ordered the cart with the fair warning, opened the cart on my front porch and threw the box in my outside recycling bin. But before I threw away the box, my cat, curious as they come, started immediately sniffing around the edges, came up to the box and then jumped straight up and ran away!!! It really is worth the cost of the frame and the setup since that seems to work very well. There are instructions on youtube to make the carts with pvc tubing for around $25, but by the time I went to the store, purchased the materials and then spent my time, the cost of buying the cart and if needed replacement tires was worth it to me. And, yes the carrier works very well, I just popped the end of my 10' kayak onto the foam shields, lifted up the other end and took off, very smooth.

Looks great but the smell!
Looks and feels really sturdy. It comes with a nylon strap but I'm planning on using bungee cords to secure my board to it.The smell is really really overpowering as soon as you open up the box. I read other reviews and will be airing it outside or in the sun so the smell will diminish with time.It didn't not come with clear step by step instructions about how to attach the wheels and how to extend it so it sits on the ground securely. You can figure it out but I was annoyed there wasn't any real instructions included. There was only a piece of paper with vague steps about what to do.Other than the smell, it looks like a good buy. I'll update my review once I've had a chance to use it this weekend 👍🏼Update *29 July 2016* this thing is AWESOME. I went it to one of the 10 thousand lakes here in Minnesota and there was a line for boats who were looking to leave the boat launch. I was one waiting in line to get my board out of the water and pull my SUV up to load. Instead of waiting, I grabbed this and proceeded to load my sup board on it and off I went to my car. It worked perfectly! I used a bungee cord to secure my board to it and it was so easy. I'm a size 4 and just about 5 feet tall and I was able to manage my board on this thing without a problem. Very steady. Lol, I got some curious looks from people nearby as I was hauling my board on wheels to my car 😆Also, I left it in my garage and the smell is almost gone. So very glad I bought this!

Sturdy
This cart works well. Wheels are inflatable not hard plastic. Your kayak will move if not strapped on well. Run the strap through the seat and it stays on very well.

Sturdy kayak cart.
I use it for a fairly big fishing kayak and it works well. I also like the larger wheels.
