Nearly Natural Cherry Blossom Bonsai Silk Tree, Pink

Absolutely beautiful! So glad I purchased and the price is right!

Although I enjoy plants and flowers, I'm one of those people, unfortunately, who can kill air ferns. Artificial plants are a nice alternative for me - as long as they're reasonably lifelike - and when I found this artificial bonsai cherry blossom tree on my Wish List, I was immediately intrigued because, aside from the beautiful look of it in the photograph, it reminded me of my childhood spent in Japan. But after ordering I had serious second thoughts, concerned that it would appear terribly cheap and fake. It arrived and, with these concerns in full force, I opened the package. And boy was I surprised and delighted! It's plastic, absolutely, and not silk as the heading states, but I have to say, even on close inspection, it is an incredibly beautiful piece of work and well worth the money. Every time I look at it, it transports me back to the small village in which we lived, just outside the main gate of Yakota AFB, and the annual Cherry Blossom Festival as it was held there: on a tree-lined hill under a night sky, colored lanterns everywhere and fireworks bursting overhead. The smells of fish cooking. Noodle carts. Women in bright kimonos. Water balloons tossed by children. Japanese music. So, there is certainly a personal bias for me that adds to my enjoyment of this piece, but I think anyone would be as happy to own this as I am because it really is simply beautiful.

We live in the Washington DC area so the Cherry Blossoms are a big deal every year.Got this for my wife for Mother's day so we have a bit of spring around all the time.She really likes it. It sits on a sofa table in our family room and is delightful to see all the time.

It's pretty... from a distance. The plastic for the trunk and branches is very low quality. It's not sturdy at all. The branches snap on and snap off. Mine came with one of the branches off entirely because it had split. They don't even do a good job of covering the lines at where the branches meet the trunk.But most importantly, the synthetic "silk" is just straight up plastic. There's nothing silk-like about it.I got mine "half off" at $50. I'm returning it because this thing would fit the $15-$20 range. $50 at "half off" is a joke.I gave it a second star because it is a good size and looks nice from far away.

I bought this just to add a little more color in my office, so it's in a spot that doesn't get a lot of light, and it is on the far end, so at first glance it looks fairly realistic, just not as much up close. Regardless, for the price, the quality is very good. There was a little over spray from what I assume was brown paint that is used on the roots and dirt, but other than that it was in decent shape when it arrived. Again it is not that much of a great item when you look at it up close, but if you're going to put it in a place where it will not be moved around a lot, it brings a subtle amount of color along with it. The look isn't for everyone, but I like it.

The Nearly Natural cherry blossom silk bonsai is well worth TWICE what I paid for it. Its intricate construction, attention to detail, and remarkablly lifelike appearance would enhance any decor and become the center of attention anywhere it is displayed. I have a collection of both living and faux bonsai in my southern-exposure window--and this new cherry blossom "plant" is the clear winner! Everyone who has seen it was captivated by its beauty and quite surprised by its low price. Most of these admirers asked me for ordering instructions. All in all, I couldn't be more pleased. This bonsai has exceeded my expectations!

The flowers are hard plastic and the tree trunk and roots do not look like th photo. It is painted black at the base and roots. Not pretty at all.

I didn't know if I wanted to spend this $ on this and went back and forth, I read the reviews and decided I would try it.I am so glad I did. It is the best artificial plant I have ever,ever seen. It does look so real , down to the roots and thedirt that is a hard, rough, looks like dirt duplicate. This is so worth the money.And the size is bigger than it looks.I have never seen one like this. And the best part I will save all the $ spend on the other dying plants and this one willlive forever!
