Terrible product. Don’t Buy! This design is for the sole purpose of having a lid that hold the cigs and smoke below so it’s smokeless and puts out the cigarettes. This one is made with a half inch circle between the base and the lid so oxygen gets in the lower part and everything just burns and sets the other cigarettes on fire. Bought 2. What a huge waste of money but too much trouble and expense to return

I love this type of ashtray and it’s beautifully made. I took one star off because, seriously, who the heck puts a big ceramic ashtray in a padded envelope?! First one arrived broken (of course), but they sent out a new one pretty quickly (in the same stupid type of padded envelope). Somehow that one made it here alive and all is well. My guess is they mark these up significantly if they ship them all in padded envelopes, hope for the best, and keeping sending new ones until they finally get lucky. Or maybe they just sent it to me like that. Otherwise, it is beautiful and serves its purpose.
