Balsam Fir Incense Refills, Set of 50

I have bought these same incense from a country store catalog that I used to get in the mail. They had stopped selling them for some reason and I was so bummed out when they discontinued them. I could not believe it when I seen them on here. I HAD to get me some more. They smell just like being up in the Redwoods or the forest. They are by far my favorite incense of all time and I will continue to purchase these as long as they are selling them. These will make you want to take many vacations to the mountains, better yet, live in the mountains so that you can smell that scent all year round... no kidding! They burn for a very long time too. They are hard to light at first because they are so thick, but when you get them lit, which you will, they burn completely all of the way down. There is never any waste at all. They also come with a little incense holder in each box that fit the diameter of the incense perfectly! The best incense that I have EVER purchased and will continue to purchase. You will LOVE these and the scent more than anything else. AWESOME! Thank you for the very fast service too!!! It is greatly appreciated!

I love the smell of Balsamic Fir, especially at Christmas time. As soon as the package is opened it smell like Christmas!These fit perfectly into the Paine Log cabin incense burners.

Logs are generally more difficult to light than cones and these are no exception --very challenging to light. Once lit, however, these logs burn at a reasonable rate. More importantly though, I'm not crazy about this aroma. Considering the most negative reviews have been recent, maybe this is just a bad batch, but I don't know for sure because I haven't purchased this scent before from Paine.I much prefer the aroma of 50 Paine's Red Cedar Cones With Holder - "Thrift Box". To me, those cones smell exactly like the cedar logs that we often burned in our fireplace, as well as the wonderful odor that I used to smell coming from the chimneys of our neighbors, in my old community, whenever I took a walk at night. They bring back so many fond memories and are a great alternative for those of us who no longer have a wood-burning fireplace. Though they are not perfect, because the cones are attached to each other and have to be broken off, which can be challenging and result in damaged cones, and also because those burn rather quickly, I'd still recommend buying the Paine's red cedar cones over the Paine's fir balsam logs.

This is old tyme Christmas all year 'round for us. They are harder to light than incense cones and sticks you might be used to but they're worth the effort. Get yourself a Zippo lighter to go with these. That's the best thing for lighting these and a lot of other things. This is a unique product with a unique scent that's not going to remind you of a tree in the woods. It's a great natural wood smoke. I see some reviewers saying that it smells like cigarettes. Tell me what brand and I may take up smoking.

I purchased the log cabin incense holder a few years back and was excited to find the refill so affordable, the 50 pack lasted throughout the holiday season and is still going strong well into Feb.

I bought this and a small wooden log cabin, because my husband remembers having one when he was young and it looked like smoke was coming out of the chimney. The logs were to have 50 in the box it only came with 45.and you can not use the little holder it comes with they don't fit. It takes a bit to get it to light but it smells nice
