Works great!
This stuff is amazing. All you need is to let your piece soak in it. No extra work or product is needed.I have cleaned 2 pieces so far. One is a glass pipe that wasn't very dirty. I don't know how long it took to clean because I just set it and went to work, came home to a shiny pipe. The second is a bong that had a thick layer of buildup at the water line; no amount of alcohol, salt, and shaking was getting that stuff off. I let it soak in this stuff for about 24 hours and the glass bong looks brand new.

A Thousand Times Better Than Using Alcohol
I can't suggest this product enough for cleaning glass items that have substances like tar, old resins, residues, and funky gunk. I've let pieces -just- soak in this product overnight and rinse completely clean, even after -years- of buildup. Since you can keep using it until it stops absorbing resins, I typically have mine in an airtight jug that I can just plop pieces in once a week to clean. Stop suffering with clogged pieces, and clean them with this amazing product!

Grandmaster Cleanliness
I've used other products in the past like 420, and Grunge Off. I'd say this competes with Grunge Off pretty well and leaves 420 in the dust.My percolator I keep relatively clean in general but man it cleared every bit of grime out of the shower head that goes down the middle which is usually the worst part.My bowl was completely solid black, it's double walled so all that clear space you see in the pictures does get filled to the brim with resin. I let it soak for about half the day and had to do a lot of manual shaking and bending a bobby pin to break up the bigger pieces so I wouldn't say this is a no shake or scrubbing cleaner but my bowl is weird in general so I think it really depends on the piece and how accessible it is to scrub. My bong itself didn't get fully clean, as you can see there is still residue and I shook the ever living piss out of it with grandmaster (dumped back into the container) then with hot water. (Note: I don't have a good brush to get into the chamber, I'm sure if I did I would be able to get it all.) Overall it did get about 95% of the grime off so I'm happy with it and will def use it in the future. If I had to rate all of the products I've used in the past: tied for 1st. Grunge Off & Grandmaster, last place 420 (I hate this stuff lol). It's well worth the purchase especially since it's reliable and does a pretty solid job overall. As a final note Grunge Off seems to be more Isopropyl alcohol based with some other ingredients and my issue with it is that if you get resin on your fingers you gotta scrub pretty hard still to get it off even with applying a little grunge off onto the spot that has resin. HOWEVER Grandmasters does NOT have this effect. I can simply dip my finger into it, run it under hot water, and it comes right off leaving my fingers clean feeling and not sticky at all. This is a weird but important thing for me as I absolutely despise having dirty hands in any way.

Overall a useful product I'd recommened, but some important things to note for best results
I typically don't write reviews, but I felt like I needed to leave one because this product does actually work, but I had to do things a little differently than what it says on the instructions, or what many of the people here are saying in the reviews. The instructions say to soak your piece 1 to 3 hours, or overnight. This is not necessary at all. I got it done in less than an hour. This is what I did for my 10 year old rig, that up to this point, I typically cleaned with rubbing alcohol and salt about once every 1 to 3 months:1) Soaked piece for 30 minutes with the Grand Master Smoke liquid.2) Poured liquid back into bottle for future reuse3) Rinsed piece with water4) Poured a little bit of the Grand Master Smoke liquid into the piece along with salt, and then shook the piece - I'm not sure if this step is necessary, but this is what I did.5) Disposed liquid and rinsed piece with water6) Poured rubbing alcohol and salt and shook piece - this is the step where all the difficult to remove grime came off7) Disposed rubbing alcohol and rinsed piece with waterThis actually worked, and it took me less than an hour, where as in the reviews, I've seen some people say they've left their piece soaked in the liquid for several days and didn't work.In the past, rubbing alcohol and salt would work well, but wouldn't remove the most difficult to reach grime regardless of how hard I shook the piece.I was skeptical at first when I tried the Grand Master Soak because during the first 30 minutes, I didn't see anything really happening. And when I shook the piece with the Grand Master Smoke and salt (from step 4 above), the inside of my piece just got foamy like soap, but I didn't see the grime come off, so I was at this point thinking this was snake oil.But then I put in the rubbing alcohol and salt in step 6, and it actually worked. The grime that rubbing alcohol and salt alone haven't been able to remove for years, finally came off. It all came off! This product is basically a 5 star product. But instructions could be improved. I'm not sure if this product works if you leave the rig soaked for over a day as recommended in the instructions. It might. But why wait an entire day, when you can get it done in less than an hour?If you have a newer rig or a lightly used rig, stick to the rubbing alcohol and salt. If you have an older rig or a heavily used rig that needs deep cleaning, I highly recommend this product. The fact that the liquid can be reused means this is a no brainer of a product to get. You can keep it under your sink at all times.

Definitely worth it π
Works great and definitely cleans the bong that my bro had caked up horribly now it is crystal clear like new. Definitely recommend this product if you need to clean he let soak for about 2 hours and then rinsed it. No more rosin or nasty stench.
