Best saw blade that won't put you in the poor house
Let me start off first by saying I am not a professional carpenter or wood worker by any stretch of the imagination, more like a hobbyist and that's stretching it a lot. I took wood shop in high school and that was 30 years ago. but I've tinkered over the years but in the last year or so I've been trying to get back into wood working, so I bought me a table saw and some other tools, andl I'm in the middle of making a project for my wife and I never give the saw blade that came with the saw much thought it was brand new and it felt sharp so I started using it, and I'm cutting red oak so it's a hard wood not super hard but it's not pine either and I noticed after about 10 maybe 15 cuts I was having to push a little harder and was getting light burn marks, so I started looking around for a new blade so I bought a dewalt blade it's a little better but I still wasn't impressed,so I started looking on wood worker forums and the general consensus was that the majority of people were using freud diablo blades.I didn't know a lot about freud but I knew enough to know that their blades were around 60 to 75 dollars and I was a tight wad and didn't want to spend that much on a blade. my attitude was literally how much better can one blade be over another just because of price. Well about a month ago I was surfing around on Amazon and came across a Freud blade and it was under 40 bucks so I got curious and started reading the reviews and they were talking about how sharp they were and how accurate they were and how long they lasted and how much quiter they were so I thought it's not much more than the dewalt blade I bought. I got it really fast as always with Amazon Prime shipping as soon as I got it I went to my shop and installed it and started making test cuts on some scrap and let me just say OMG Freud has a reputation for being one of the best blades on the market for a reason they earned it.. this blade was so sharp it cut through that scrap oak literally like a knief through butter the effort it took to push the wood through my saw was so much easier than it was with my stock blade even better than the dewalt. I can't attest to the longevity yet because I haven't had it very long but from what I've read you can sharpen this blade over and over I think you can even send it to freud and they will sharpen it don't know what that would cost but it would be worth it. And the last thing I noticed is the sound level this blade is so quite I couldn't believe it just with it spinning on the saw not cutting its so quite and when you're cutting it is so noticeably quite compared to a stock saw blade or one's of lesser expense. I was so impressed that I bought a 2nd Freud except the second one is for rip cuts. I could go on for a long time about this blade bottom line is you're getting a great quality blade for a really decent price it's sharp it's quite and most likely will last you twice as long as the cheaper ones will. I love this blade

Makes good clean cuts, great blade for any saw.
This is a great blade and makes really nice fine cuts on my table saw, a big upgrade from my original 24 tooth blade. Wish I would have bought this sooner for more finer cuts, or has made my carpentry work more accurate. Especially for miter type cuts and haven’t really noticed any tear out, love the Freud line of blades and bits, top quality IMO.

Precision Perfected – A Cut Above the Rest!
I recently purchased the Diablo by Freud D1050X 10" 50-tooth ATB Combo Saw Blade with 5/8" Arbor and PermaShield for my woodworking projects, and I am beyond impressed with its performance. This saw blade has truly elevated my cutting experience, and here's why: Clean, Precise Cuts: The Diablo D1050X excels in delivering clean and precise cuts every time. Whether I'm working with hardwood, softwood, or composite materials, the blade effortlessly glides through, leaving behind a smooth finish. The quality of the cuts has significantly improved since I started using this blade, making my projects look more professional and refined. Thin Kerf Advantage: One of the standout features of this saw blade is its thin kerf design. The thin profile ensures minimal material wastage, making it highly efficient and economical. The reduced kerf also means less strain on my saw, resulting in smoother operation and an extended lifespan for both the blade and the tool. Versatile Application: The Diablo D1050X is a true workhorse that adapts seamlessly to various cutting tasks. Whether I'm making crosscuts, rip cuts, or even miter cuts, this blade consistently delivers exceptional results. Its versatility has made it my go-to choice for a wide range of woodworking projects. Long-Lasting Performance with PermaShield: The PermaShield coating on the blade not only protects against corrosion but also minimizes friction and heat buildup during operation. This feature not only enhances the blade's longevity but also ensures that it maintains its sharpness for an extended period. I appreciate the thoughtfulness that Diablo has put into maximizing the durability of this saw blade. Ease of Use: Installing the Diablo D1050X on my saw was a breeze, thanks to its user-friendly design. The 5/8" arbor fits securely, and I experienced no wobbling or vibration during operation. The blade's stability contributes to the overall safety and precision of my cuts. In conclusion, the Diablo D1050X is a game-changer for anyone serious about achieving top-notch woodworking results. Its clean, precise cuts, thin kerf design, and overall durability make it a wise investment for both amateur and professional woodworkers alike. I wholeheartedly recommend the Diablo D1050X to anyone in need of a reliable and high-performing saw blade.

Amazing upgrade
This blade turned my $10 garage sale find into an amazing table saw. This blade cuts quickly and cleanly. The quantity of the cut increases the safety. The edges of the wood are clean and smooth. The amount of saw dust produced is about what you'd expect.

Can't say enough about the quality of this blade. I own two of them so when one need to be sharpened I have a spare. I use this blade in my table saw for ripping anything from hard wood to softwood and 100 year old barn wood. It's also very good for cross cutting with a table saw sled. I also use this blade to cut clean edges for laminating table top boards. With this blade in the table saw I can glue up boards right off the kerf, no need to use a jointer. This is one blade that stays sharp for a lot of use. If you clean the pith build up on the carbide periodically, its cuts as though the blade came out of the package. I strongly recommend this blade to anyone with a table saw. I've been using Freud blades for years now and refuse to instal any other make in my saw.

I purchased this blade, as I needed the teeth to have a square profile and that the Freud Diablo brand name had many 5 star reviews. In a nut-shell, this was money well spent, having now used it on some small projects. The finished cut and ease of use with different woods is superb and I can now see why so many others have left glowing feedback. If it performs for a decent amount of time, I'll be very happy. Like other cutting tools, if they're sharp enough, then they don't need much by way of force to cut the material at hand. For this new blade attached to my table saw, it was effortless throughout and a real pleasure to use. All in all, I'd highly recommend this blade to any serious woodworker, either professional or DIY.
