Final update (July 2019): I randomly came across this review again so I thought I'd give one final update. I ordered this product in November 2015 and finally passed it along to a friend in May 2019. It was still in excellent condition even after being used regularly by 2 kids and young guests for 3 1/2 years. It's a great buy!Update from the original review below: I've had this for about 5 months now and it's holding up well. I was initially concerned about how the handle would hold up over time with a toddler who eagerly pulls it up, down, and side to side, but it's still as good as day one. It's also easy to keep clean and hasn't left any marks on the faucet knob. I've upgraded this to 5 stars. I love it!--This product is serving its purpose well, was easy to connect to the knob, and is easy for my child to use. My only concern is how well the plastic handle will hold up over time because it doesn't feel very sturdy. Overall I'm very happy with it so far.

I am sorry I didn't review this sooner because it really is a wonderful thing for young children. I am a grandfather of a little boy. When he started coming over after kindergarten, he was hesitant to use my bathroom. He even had an accident and I couldn't figure out why until it hit me. My bathroom was new to him and everything was out of reach. Even the toilet was high. (I have a taller toilet for my weak legs) I found this kit and figured I'd try it. It worked like a charm. I purchased the step stool separately. Now he could use the step stool to reach the toilet & sink. It comes with one handle extention (for the cold water so the child can't scald themselves) and a spout extender (so they can reach the water). They attach easily to my sink and work perfectly. My grandson never had another accident and as he grew, he stopped needing the step stool. I definitely, highly recommend this for any household with a young child. It helps them to develop a feeling of accomplishment and independence.

This product is great! My 17 month old grandson climbs up on his stool pulls the handle and the water comes out. The problem is my gooseneck faucet which doesn’t work with the spout to push the water forward unless I hold it. My problem, not the product which is very cute and looks like it would work on another type faucet.

This was perfect for our 21/2 year old granddaughter that loves using her stool at the sink to brush her teeth or wash her hands. I love to encourage the independence but we have the type of sink that has the handle that goes up and swings right or left. I wanted her to be able to turn the faucet on and off, but was always concerned she would accidentally move it to the hot setting and she would get burned. Of course we do still supervise her but it’s not a constant worry as accidents happen quickly. The extended handle and faucet tray have made it safe and easy for her to use.

The handle doesn’t turn very easily so it can be hard for the kids to use bc it stays straight and then is out of reach when the sink is off. The trough moves easily which is kind of a pain. Weren’t a lot of other options for a handle-style sink.It’s better than nothing.I do think it’s overpriced.

Kiddo loved being able to work the faucet and reach without help.Spout extension slipped on and off for easy cleaning.Handle extension would pull off but that was remedied with showing kiddo how it worked and a little practice to avoid pulling.

Omg best invention ever! How is there only one version of this available on all of Amazon?!? So freaking useful for the littles! Got a diff brand for the faucet extender, but handle extender is perfect. Highly recommend!!!

This product is great for our 2 year old! She’s now potty trained and the handle extender allows her to wash her hands when she’s done. She feels like such a big girl now! Highly recommend!
