I now have another favorite author! Five stars from me doesn't happen often.
I knew the minute I started reading this book I'd love it. And I was right! Every once in awhile you run across an author that makes you feels as though they're writing the perfect story just for you. And in my case Crystal Kaswell is that author. Her ability to set the right tone leading into each couples relationship keeps you completly invested their outcome. This book focused on Tom, the drummer in the popular band Sinful Serenade, and Willow, the younger sister of the lead guitar player in the band. I really don't want to spoil any of the story, it's so much more fun to get there on your own. Tom is misunderstood by the fans and media, and he sets it up that way. No one needs to be in the tabloids when they're struggling with serious issues, so Tom gets good at moving the focus on to himself, in order to give his bandmates a chance to quietly get themselves together. This means Tom is perceived as the out of control wild child, and the media soaks it up. Mission accomplished, although none of the other band members realizes exactly why he's always getting involved in outrageous attention getting behaviors. They chalk it up to his off the charts ego and wild ways.Willow is hoping to hangout with her brother and the band for a little bit while she figures out what to do about a really bad situation back home. Thinking she is letting herself into her brothers hotel room, she comes face to face with a completely gorgeous, and completely naked man ... definitely not her brother (thank God!). Unfortunately, Willow slowly realizes two things. One, he looks very familiar to her, and two, she can't seem to take her eyes off of the piercing in the head of his penis. When it hits her that this is Tom, the drummer she has had a crush on since she was a kid, she's at a complete loss for words. Tom still hasn't put it together, and offers pretty little Willow some fun under the sheets. After all, this hot girl is standing in his room staring at his junk, might as well have some fun, right? Willow finally remembers how to speak, and sets Tom straight by clarifying that she was looking for her big brother, Drew, and was told this was his room. Okay .... Tom has his Ah Ha moment, he quickly puts some pants on and realizes he needs to do some damage control. He rings Drew in his room and says he found his little sister down in the hotel lobby and he's bringing her up to see him. There's no way he wants one of his best friends and bandmate knowing he was hitting on his little sister with his junk proudly on display. Drew would go ballistic and kill him. But Willow isn't the little girl he remembers at all. She's grown up and filled out in all the right places, and damn if he doesn't like what he sees. Keeping himself in check won't be easy but he's determined not to have any problems with his friend Drew. So Tom takes it upon himself to look out for Willow while she's in town. This is a terrific story. Filled with challenges, while trying to ignore the strong feelings they're having for each other. I really, really enjoyed this story! I can't wait to read the others in this series!

Rocking my Emotions
I was definitely looking forward to this book. Tom is my favorite of the band so far and Crystal Kaswell took her time to develop him. Also, Willow's back story had been hinted at and I was curious about what had happened to her. I wasn't as worried about going into this book because she had done so well with the second book. So, I opened the book to see what she had done with my favorite bad boy in Sinful Serenade.I am pretty familiar with the setting by now except this time they were on tour so I got to move deeper into band life and the intricate workings within. Also, I found out why their manager is rarely around and that actually gave more depth to Tom's character. And speaking of Tom...He's just so cocky and sexy and though he may seem shallow at times, he has a good heart. He cares for his family and his friends. He puts himself in situations for them that are endearing. He has a low opinion of his self-worth that is heartbreaking. Willow is a strong woman who has faced flames and walked out a phoenix. I love her stubbornness and her ability to raise her chin and face things even when she's hurt. Together Tom and Willow push and pull each other and I would say they are fire together but they aren't...They're a freaking explosion. The story itself is emotional and pulls you through the pain and heartache and lust and love in a way that keeps you engaged. It deals with family and friendships in a way that makes you want to continue to turn the pages. There is sex in this book and it's hot as the hinges of hell's gates. One other thing I will say is that Crystal Kaswell knows how to set up for the next story. I thought Tom would be the climax but she started showing us more of Pete and he's made me conflicted. There is a very good chance that he will become my favorite after reading the next book.I do recommend this book for anyone who likes bands, rocking out, love and lust. I do not recommend this for anyone below the age of eighteen.

Another page turner
Crystal Kaswell is an amazing author. I read this book in less than 4 days and 1 of those days was spent sleeping off Covid. Can't wait to read more of Crystal's work.

Loved
I’m so glad we got toms story. We got to see the real him. Yes he is a joker, and loves the play up the drama but he loves he friends and family. And that is evident in all the things we learn about his persona. And how it’s been used to mostly protect those in his band. He upped his celebrity visibility every time his friends needed heat off of them due to personal issues. Wow. That’s protection. Willow is adorable with her blushes and how she wants to feel again after suffering being in an abusive relationship years ago. Also being the younger sister to protective drew makes that hard. They are perfect for one another. They push each other and balance out. So good together. Can’t wait for Pete.

The Man Behind the Drum
Tom Steele, sex God, drummer, rock star, the list goes on. He’s also known to be the man who makes it his business to get in everyone’s business. But, beneath that man-wh@$e exterior he is so much more than you would’ve ever ever thought. Tom is a man that has layers upon layers that are just begging to be unpeeled to reveal a beautiful heart and who knew it’d be his best friend’s sister who’d do it? Willow was looking for an escape but she found more, way more than she bargained for when she happened upon Tom. What starts out as a friendship blossoms into a love that Willow is not willing to let go no matter what or who tries to get in the way. This story shows Tom in a new light and by the end you love him and respect him so much more when you see him for the person he really is. Rock Your Heart Out gave you some heavy unexpected feels and warning definitely prepare yourself because Tom lives up to his sex God name and leaves you reeling as though you experienced first hand what Willow had.

Tom - so much more!
I really enjoyed this book in the series... so much so I have read it three times since I bought it back in 2016. Tom is my current favourite of all of Crystal Kaswell’s male main characters, in part because you discover so much more about him in this book than the shallow rockstar and man whore he appears to be in earlier books. I also really like how Willow develops during the course of the story, and their relationship develops in directions I wasn’t expecting! I recommend this book to anyone who loves the idea of a “bad boy” surrounding a true heart. Although it could be read as a stand alone, I think you’d get more out of it if you read the whole Sinful Serenade series in order.
