ASUS VT229H 21.5" Monitor 1080P IPS 10-Point Touch Eye Care with HDMI VGA, Black

This Asus 21.5" touchscreen does everything they say it does. It's exactly as described. I've been using it for about a week now, it is plug n play and intuitive to use. With windows 11 it makes your monitor into a big tablet. The screen is hard, clear and reflective so I put a matte screen protector on it. I have another larger 4K monitor but I honestly think this one has an image that's just as sharp. It wasn't expensive and it works perfectly so I'm very glad I bought it. Recommended!

This seller was awesome I ordered two ASUS touchscreen monitors and they arrived before the expected delivery date! The setup was easy and all the cables were included. The picture quality and brightness is super. I would highly recommend this seller and I would purchase from him again!

The monitor itself is good and the touch screen worked just as it should. HOWEVER, thanks to some bad software design my windows you can't use a touchscreen monitor as a second monitor, IT HAS to be the primary monitor or else the touch screen simply doesn't work. Which is one of the most frustratingly stupid things I've discovered running windows. If you plan on using this as your main monitor though it's a good choice.

Wanted to replace the small touchscreen monitor that came with my OneFinity CNC machine. Purchased this monitor along with a Huanuo Single Monitor Mount (gas strut arm). This setup is awesome. Mounted it to the CNC table, but it can swing and move in a wide area. Much bigger than the monitor that came with the CNC, and touchscreen works great. My only observation is that the viewing angle is more limited than I expected. However since it is mounted on an arm (only cost $35) I can position the monitor so it's easy to see. Never have to worry about the monitor being knocked-off the table I've mounted the CNC to. Highly recommend.

Probably the best for everyday needs ( I don't know what "know how" they used ),but ASUS monitors always outperformed -my old one 20" still display more vibrant colors than most newest models !

Great monitor at an afforadble price. Has reasonable gaming capabilities and can be setup in minutes. Has built in monitior speakers. I just wish the base had swivel capabilities.

I bought one of these a few years ago. It worked out well, so I bought another, and have just installed the new VT168 side by side with the older VT168. The new monitor looks like a different monitor, inferior image quality in spite of choosing the same video settings between new and old. The older VT168 has a fairly deep black, and colors saturate nicely. The new monitor has a not-very-black black, lots of backlight bleedthrough, and colors are faded. That's with the same settings for image control for both. There's no image setting that provides a deep black on the new monitor, and the power-up white/black splash-screen is just white/kinda-black. I have in the past bought various ASUS monitors for a multi-monitor setup, and they sometimes need small adjustments to the color parameters to get good color match from unit to unit, side-by-side, but nothing like this. The new VT168's dynamic range is on par with the super-cheap no-name monitors. Note that the old monitor identifies as "ASUS VT168". The new monitor identified as "VT168HR". No ASUS name in the monitor identity as seen from the PC.

Compre el monitor para implementar un sistema punto de venta en un negocio de comida y así gestionar las ventas. La pantalla es de excelente tamaño, la función touch funciona muy bien, además de responder rápido al tacto. Los materiales son de muy buena calidad, el largo de los cables es más del necesario y tiene una base para poder atornillarla a un soporte de escritorio. Lleva funcionando 6 meses en un ambiente donde hay temperaturas medias - altas debido a los hornos donde se cocina. En promedio se utiliza desde las 11 am hasta las 6 pm de manera continúa todos los días, y sigue funcionando sin ningún problema. Le doy un uso anormal, ya que se supone es para oficina o entretenimiento, pero al menos yo sí recomiendo esto para gestionar un negocio o para su uso en oficina o escolar. El único punto negativo que le veo, es que no tiene bocinas integradas, por lo que dependes del audio de la pc o laptop a donde se conecte.

If you are using a smaller screen for POS, you'll find moving to a 21" screen requires quite a noticeable change in arm movement. Regardless, 1080p resolution is pretty standard for many software so this fit that requirement for my needs. Good monitor. Worth considering. Recommended without reservation.
