Not bad for such a small speaker.
Straight to the punch - this is a small speaker, and it sounds small. I have used it while taking a shower and preparing food, and it's adequate for that, but you simply aren't going to get big sound out of it. I don't think I was over expecting, based on the product description and reviews, but was disappointed at the volume where you started getting distortion (and fearing for the integrity of the speaker). To be fair, it's actually pretty good for it's size - but it IS a small size. There's a woman's voice when you turn it on that tells you about the status of bluetooth connections. She sounds like she's drunk (actually, it sounds like just a super low quality sample). A couple of tones and indicator lights are good enough - the "feature" of this voice every time you turn it on is annoying. The bluetooth connections for me have worked just fine. The range is about what you'd expect - the only time it cut out on me was when I went into a different room. I may have only been about 20 feet away, but it was around walls and such. There is a bit of awkwardness with setting up the connection, though. I turned on the speaker, then went to my phone to pair it. I was able to pair it without any problem, but it didn't initially automatically connect (may be my phone). What I discovered, after the initial pairing, is that the bluetooth on my phone needs to be on already when I turn on the RoverBeats speaker - so after that initial pairing, I had to turn off the unit, turn it back on, my phone would pair (but not connect); I had to manually go to the bluetooth settings on my phone to connect, and it worked just fine. Since that first time, it automatically connects when I'm in range and turn on the speaker... so at this point, it's not a problem. They double up the forward/previous buttons with volume up and down. That's annoying, too. When you want to change the volume, you need to press and hold the button, otherwise it skips to the next (volume up) or previous (volume down) song. If you're listening to something like Pandora, you would know how frustrating that is - a song you like comes on and you want to increase the volume a little, and end up skipping to the next song - and you can't go back because it's Pandora.I use the speaker in short segments - 20 minutes here, 30 minutes there, when I'm in the kitchen or shower or something. I've had it for a couple of weeks, and have not had to recharge it, so I think the longevity of the battery is quite good. The unit comes with a carrier with a caribiner type clip; you could clip it to a backpack or belt loop and listen while walking around, although I haven't tried it that way. It's not something I'd be interested in, but I thought it was a nice addition. The bottom line is small speaker sounds bigger than it is, but it still doesn't sound big. I will probably look for a larger speaker next, and I honestly am not the type that listens to music all that loud.EDIT: I came back to give this one less star, but it doesn't deserve less than three. The problem now is after some use, I find that their use of a mini USB instead of a micro USB charging cable to be a bit moronic - most phones in the last 5+ years that use a standard connector use micro. Now you need to carry around two cables in order to charge this.

Buy the T3 Instead!!!
I'm a massage therapist, so I need music to play continuously in my treatment room while I work. This speaker kept cutting out and eventually just stopped working even though it was fully charged! I bought the T3 and love it, thought maybe the enhanced features of the T16 would be nice to have, but you have to put your finger on that volume/track advance combo button *just* the right amount of time if you want the volume changed instead of the track advanced. Frustrating!! I used the T16 at home for a couple weeks before I took it to my office/treatment room. It worked fine at home for about a week until the range problems started. It was cutting out constantly unless the transmitting device was less than 10 feet away. I thought "fine, I'll use this one at work since it's a small room." Nope. Same problems cutting out and then it just stopped working altogether. Glad I still had my T3 around for backup or I'd have had no music for my sessions. Too bad I've already gotten rid of its packaging, because this thing would be on its way back. The only "pro" would be the cool color. I'm ordering another T3 instead.

Awesome Speaker, Awesome Price
I love the size, which is about half the size of a 12 oz can of soda. Even though itโs size is small, this little speaker puts out some full size sound. There's a rubber strip on the bottom of it to protect your furniture and to keep it from sliding around. It also features volume controls, a pause and play button, and an on and off switch right on the speaker. With the power of 2.1 Bluetooth it effortlessly connects to tablets, and cell phones, and anything with Bluetooth. It has a range of about 30 feet so you don't have to be right up next to it.Itโs powered by a Lithium-ion battery, that when fully charged can last for about 6 or 7 hours. So you can get hours of enjoyment without needing to recharge right away. You can also use it while itโs charging so you won't have to miss a beat.I love the soft nylon protective carrying case with a handy belt clip that comes with it. This allows you to take your speaker with you when you are doing house work, yard work, or just on the go. I absolutely love this little speaker it puts out clear, crisp sound. For the sound quality and the overall quality of the speaker you would expect to pay a lot more money than what this costs.Pros:- sounds good (for price and size)- decent bass (for price and size)- looks and feels decent- the case is great- good battery life (for size)Cons:- Does NOT automatically connect when walking back into range- The announcer voice's volume is at max volume always- Did not have the micro SD slot as stated

Cool design for the speaker but not that cool in sound.
First of all I want to let all of you people know that you are more than awesome! You are valuable beyond measure! Your life is irreplaceable!I think this little speaker looks cool. It is well built. It looks like it can last a long time. I am happy with the design. At the time of this review the Roverbeats T16 was under $20 so it is very affordable. And I like the little carrying case it came with. And the battery last a long time. Those are my pros for the Roverbeats T16.However I am not going to rate this speaker five stars. The bass quality and the sound is not that great. Especially when you compare it to The Sharkk mini 4.0 speaker the red one. Sound quality and bass is cleaner and more crisp and just better on the Sharkk mini bluetooth 4.0 speaker the red one. I like the Roverbeats T16 speaker. But I did expect more from the T16. It doesn't live up to all the reviews I have seen on YouTube and amazon. The T16 is a good speaker but The Sharkk mini speaker the red one is much better.Thank you for taking the time to read this review. You are truly freaking awesome!!๐๐๐
