UPDATE: Prime Selections contacted me regarding my negative review to let me know that a new and improved product was being manufactured. I must say they did a better job with the tools. They have a brushed finish and look very modern. They appear to be more sturdy as well. I used the scissors and clippers immediately and found them adequately sharp. They could definitely stand to be sharper. The case leaves something to be desired: on one side the tools are nice and secure but on the other (the side with the scissors and clippers) the straps are too close together and so loose the tools slide around. The case material is faux leather with loose threads all around the case and somewhat messy finishing; but for an inexpensive set this might be forgiven. If this set is intended as an emergency set for your purse to fix nail snags, hang nails and similar needs then it will work. I do not recommend it as a gift.Review of the set purchased in February: Flimsy and poorly made. I bought this as a gift and had to return it because it looked like the tools would break during the first use.

I want to edit this review, i didnt contact the company who sells this set because it wasnt that big of a concern for me, i keep it in my back pack and mostly use the file and clippers. The original set that i received had a very nice case but the tools inside were made of pretty poor metal. I received today a new set from the manufactured with a nice hand signed letter addressing the issue. The new set is stainless per the letter and is a significant improvement in quality. if every set that goes out the doors is like the one i got today, i cant imagine anyone would have any complaints about it. best part is, they kept the same case. i really expected no contact from the seller, but its nice to see a company that cares about what they ship out. The set is not very expensive and is well worth it. I read some other reviews that had issues with various other tools in the set as well. per the set infront of me, those issues are also likely resolved. every part of the set has been improved.

All of the items listed were indeed included in the package but the quality of the items is underwhelming. The nail clippers are not of great quality and struggled to cut the nails on my hand. Toes would be out of the question. The tweezers lost their spring after just a few uses and now are nearly flat. On a positive note, the price was excellent and the tools were all nicely chromed. I knew the scissors would be less than stellar so I had also purchased the Tweezerman as well. I was correct in my assumption. When something is an inexpensive as this item, I'm less likely to complain about the quality. The sad truth is these days it seems that you rarely get what you pay for even when paying a premium price. These were priced well and expectedly gave mediocre performance. Considering the poor performance of the tweezers and the clippers, I wouldn't likely purchase again, however.

This Manicure set is a nice compact size, ideal for taking with you when travelling - which is why I purchased it as I do a lot of travelling. I have tried the nail clippers and scissors and they work really well and are very sharp. The tweezers are also good and sharp edge so it grips really well and does its' job. I haven't tried the other tools in the kit, so don't know how well they will perform.

Nice little set. Its compact enough to keep in my purse. It has all the tools I need to fix broken nails and hangnails when I'm out of the house. Everything seems high quality and is nice and sharp.Update 12/17: took down to 3 stars because it fell apart after 10 months. The snap came undone and the straps that hold the tools fell apart. Not so high quality after all. It's been in my purse the whole time but didn't really get much abuse there.

**UPDATEAfter this review I was sent a stainless steel high quality manicure set. The tweezers, scissors,and nail clippers work great. I'll upgrade my review to 4 stars.Old Review: Garbage quality. The only thing that kind of works are the scissors. Everything else is shotty. Tweezers and nail clippers do not work well at all.

Nice-sized set that fits conveniently in my purse. The sewing and white top-stitching on the case is an added touch to make it more attractive. The individual pieces of the manicure set are all sturdy and well-made. The first time I ordered this, I must admit I was sent a case that was poorly made. My review stated as much, but I was surprised to be contacted by Amazon. I was offered a replacement, which I accepted and have reviewed here. This review is as much for the product as it is for Amazon customer service. Can't be beat!!

UPDATED REVIEW:When I received the original product I gave it only two stars because of the quality. Shortly after leaving the review I was contacted by customer service and told the product I received likely came from the old manufacturer and the company had since changed to a new manufacturer. I was sent a new set and sure enough, the new set was of much better quality. I am very please with the new set and would highly recommend it.
