First, did it live up to expectations? Yes, I have used it with a blow comb and although I would hope my dryer is not 200 degrees, it did hold up to whatever its temperature may be. I do have long hair and it held up to styling without losing any teeth. I did not realize any reduction in static electricity or making my hair softer or smoother. Then again, it wasn't any worse either. The nice little case makes it fancy looking for gift giving (who gives a comb for a gift?) and is a nice way to store it in your purse so it doesn't get broken while it tosses around with the other items in your bag. Was it easy to use? Yes, it's a comb. If it wasn't easy to use there would be something seriously wrong. The reason for four stars vs. five is simply a matter that I thought almost $7 was a bit high for a comb.

It held up well while I flat ironed my hair using 400 degree heat. It is small but it does what its suppose to do. I have kinky hair so I could only do very small sections at a time but overall it really works. It feels a little flimsy when you touch it but it does what its suppose to do. Its gray plastic material. I don't flat iron my hair often but again I have kinky hair and it works for me, doesn't tangle my hair or feel limp after I'm finish flat ironing or blow drying mu hair. I use it in my children's hair also without an issue.

This is an awesome comb!Goes through the hair super easily, in wet or dry hair.And it also gives little tingles as you use it, kind of like a little scalp massage!It looks stylish and comes in this cool little protective case.I highly recommend this for anyone who has longer hair and also for those who like creating a textured look.

Works well for haircuts, not as good as the professional ones I’m used to but I don’t cut hair as much so it works. I couldn’t use if still worked in a salon, but fine for the occasional family haircut

I got these for work and I do just them a lot. They go thru the hair smoothly I love the holes on the top it helps guide your comb. I have had them for alittle while on and just now they are showing alittle wore and tear. But I use them a lot and do have a lot of heat next against them so that may make a difference depending on how much use them and how often. I plan on getting more.

Nice comb, however, I do find the smaller teeth to be a bit sharp on my facial skin. Not so rounded or just quite thin teeth.

It does seem like it smooths the hair but the static electricity is still there but not quite as bad however.

I thought my hair was falling out, it wasn't, I was just using the wrong comb in the shower and my hair was getting snagged. Once I started using this comb, I no longer noticed excessive hair coming out. This comb is great for long and thick hair.
