Got the hat a day early...yay. Looks like the picture and the brim appears to be plastic so I don't think it can be reshaped. It dips on the sides and hits my sunglasses but it does keep the sun out of my eyes. It looks like the picture and fits fine. It has a lot of stretch to it but...the more you stretch it the more the knit will expand leaving gaps in the weave...which is true of all stretch caps I guess. Wore it in 33 degree weather yesterday with a stiff wind of about 13-15 mph. It did a decent job but I think that's at the tipping point of its effectiveness. I wasn't 'cold' but I did feel the wind, especially around the ears...and the cap was folded so my ears had double protection. I walked for several miles and again, didn't get cold but I wasn't overly warm either. I never got uncomfortable. I'm going to guess that this will keep you warm on calm days even into the 20s but when the wind kicks up you're probably looking in the 30s for effectiveness. Overall a good cap and I'll keep it for hiking and general walking around the neighborhood.

Quality to maintain a very adventurous style.

The hat is well made and reasonably warm. The main reason for purchasing this hat is for the build in sun visor. The sun visor is not long enough. So, it partially works. It should be as long as a baseball cap and it's not. I kept the hat, but if I purchase another, I will need to verify the length of the visor.

Great fit,, snug at the ears. I tried a few options from various sellers and this was the keeper.
