Loved the history of edible flowers as a preface to recipes! I learned a lot about the various uses of different things I have around my garden

This had a lot of helpful information in my quest for which flowers in my garden I can harvest. Even some nice simple recipes. Pictorially it's a winner as a coffeetable book, as well as knowledgeable text.

Lovely photos, and lots of them. Good thing, because the font is so small I'd have to use a magnifying glass to avoid eyestrain. Great recipe suggestions.

This was a gift for my daughter who has a prize winning garden, but has not included edible flowers, yet...she's going to do so, and the recipes/ideas are terrific. She really enjoys this book.

Resource book on growing edible flowers.

Good information, I was hoping this would cover some of the lesser-known edible flowers. Also seems very oriented around British/north Europe climate and wildflowers-I was looking for something a little more cosmopolitan. But good info, love the recipes included and the history of flower use in meals throughout medieval times. Very historically oriented - I was also hoping it would discuss planting arrangements in more depth. The recipes are the star of the book. Would rather have bought a paperback edition as this is quite a large book, with a relatively light amount of info in it.

This is an awesome book, filled with pictures and instructions with a detailed list of edible flowers.
